Great bacon

First time buying this because they have been out of the Hormel 72 piece, cooked package for months....which is a GREAT product. This bacon is essentially nothing but fat. There are have as many pieces in this packaging and it costs $3 more. All in all, a terrible product.

I like this product, but - unless I've just been unlucky - the quality has not been as good, of late. For my last 2 packages, the bacon in the visible row is nicely marbled/picture-pretty, while the back 2 rows in both contained misshaped, gnarly strips - with large areas of lean/little fat. I'm over 60/still working with my real teeth, so gnawing through strips that are more like jerky is something I don't enjoy subjecting them to. I hope it's just an aberration, because I enjoy this bacon - when it's as pictured on the listing page.

This bacon is amazing...it does not taste like it came out of the microwave

Much prefer the thick precooked bacon over the thin - worth the price difference!
