We’re sorry for the frustration, Thomas. That experience is not what you should expect from an Omron monitor, especially after long-term use of our products. Rapid inflation followed by a slowdown can be caused by cuff placement, a loose air tube connection, or a cuff seal issue, even with new batteries.
