Works Great!

I just purchased this toaster oven. It is very spacious and heats up food fast. One of the big reasons for me purchasing this particular oven, was the fact that it included a broiler pan, two racks and three rack levels for many combinations of placement. Most toaster ovens have just one rack level placement.

This is my second Compact Oven. The first one was in 2008.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The first Compact Oven was given to me as a present in June 2008 which died in May this year. As we were completely satisfied with its performance we decided to go again for same product. We use it mostly for toast and for bake. Excellent

A cut above regular toaster ovens

I've used this a few times in the short time I've had it. I'm not quite used to the way it cooks, but I've been able to roast a small hen for the first time in years. (I haven't had an oven for a while.) I have made small pizzas in it and it does a good job. Workmanship is a bit lacking: there is 1/4" gap at the top of the door (right edge), and no gap at the bottom. It appears that the unit is warped. It still functions so I didn't send it back. I burned myself on the curved glass door the first time; easily fixed by purchase of silicone oven mitts. Takes at least ten minutes to preheat. Rack adjustability is a plus; you can turn them over as well as move them higher and lower. No interior light but I just keep a flashlight nearby. All in all a worthy purchase but for workmanship.

Excellent for kitchens with just one oven

I bought this oven last month and use it daily. It is great oven for keeping things warm, baking rolls, etc. The countdown timer is audible which I appreciate as a reminder that you have an item in there. It looks good on the counter and is super easy to clean

Couldn't do without

I use this oven more than my big oven. Where I live it gets very hot almost year around and this is a life saver when I don't have to fire up the big oven. Giving it 4 stars because if you don't change the setting (let's say from toast when you want to bake or vice versa) and you don't pay attention to the power light indicator, the oven will not power up and you may think you're preheating or toasting, but you're not. So always pay attention to the light after turning on.

Good things come in small packages!

Bought 2 weeks ago and very happy with the convection oven. Never had convection before, so still trying out recipes. Meat loaf came out perfect; baked potatoes perfect, too. Casserole nicely done; and cookies great as well. Love that I can see what's cooking through the window. Didn't know that the fan was so quiet, at first I thought it wasn't working!

Hearty, endurance, appearance

Decided to upgrade from an inexpensive toaster oven. This product is more versatile and built better than what I had. (It is 3x more expensive). For what it has been used so far it is good. Great toaster and broiler. The mess after using as a broiler is a wash with our built in oven. Still have lots to try to get maximum use from it. Satisfied with what I have seen so far.

Super Great Compact Oven

I love my new compact oven. It's so easy to use. I use to have another brand and was never pleased with it, so when I saw the KitchenAid Compact Oven I bought it. Best compact oven ever. I also have a KitchenAid mixer that I really do like. I think KitchenAid products are exceptional.

Great appliance

I bought this oven to replace my 11 year old single rack convection/toaster. Not only is this oven more compact but it has 2 racks!!!! The only thing I would caution is don't bake a cake on the top rack. It's too close to the heating element and the top will burn too quickly.

Quality made

My old toaster oven broke a month ago so my husband surprised me with this one. I absolutely love it. I won't have to purchase another oven for many many years to come. It's very high quality made and very sturdy. It's heavy duty, and much quieter than any other toaster oven I've owned. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I purchase all kitchen aide products, and I haven't been let down once!
