[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am VERY happy with this oven. It makes nice, evenly browned toast, and it does an outstanding job of baking. So far I have baked a leg of lamb, a chicken and a couple of casseroles, all of which came out perfectly. And the happy ending is that it is quite easy to clean!

Lightly used oven, Switch TOAST / BROIL / WARM / BAKE, FAILED.. . We chose this oven BECAUSE, no fancy electronics or displays to fail, leading to prohibitively expensive repairs, and now we are let by poor quality switch hardware, without adequate Mean Time Between Failures for an expensive, counter top over. I would like to recommend to others, but it seems this is a common problem, from reviews. And to add further disatisfaction, I have been unable to find a replacement switch, which would be an easy fix. Kitchen aid food mixers are brilliant , robust, and repairable AND rebuildable. Please send or provide a source to obtain a replacement switch.

Got this as a gift earlier in the year. It works really well for baking and toasting without heating up my main oven. The problem is the oven function stopped working, it just doesnt heat up anymore. The funny thing is the toasting function still works. Would be nice if I could get it work fully again!

I just plugged it in and it smelled weird I was trying to make toast and it did smoke some. I also got confused because now I'm wondering if I can even use it because I have it on the counter just left of a gas stove not touching it a foot away from the same counter - is okay and safe ? I have nowhere else to place it except on that counter and in the user manual it said do not place near a gas stove so I'm a little bit confused

Received this as a wedding gift. Used it twice, and by the third time it broke. Now it does not turn on. We didn't open it until we bought a house over a year later so the warranty is gone. To get it repaired, we'd have to drive about an hour. Such a poor product to break so quickly.

Been doing a lot of research and found this to be the best toaster oven out of all I have looked at..I was so excited to get it- Cooked a whole Red Baron pizza in it the first night and cookies for dessert. I see this oven replacing my big gas oven that seems to heat the whole house up way to much especially just using it for me and my son. And living in northeast Texas summers can be brutal so we do not need help with extra heat. Definitely happy with this purchase so far. Can't wait to see what else I cook in it!!

I never use a big oven. This countertop toaster/convection oven does well. Now the knobs have faded and I can't see functions so I don't use it. Kitchen aid send me knobs for #KCO223CU

I bought 2 within 1 year. the 1st one stopped baking within 6 months. Now the 2nd one stopped baking and the nobs stopped turning as well. I really liked this oven but I cant spend more money on this brand.

This is great for a small oven. It's painfully slow at toasting. If you want toast first thing in the morning, better start toasting it before you go to bed!
