They changed this stuff years ago from what it tasted like for years and I was disgusted with it. I was hoping it would have improved since then seeing as it's been a few years but no, still the awful new flavor. If you are a fan of country Crock old school recipe, about the only thing close I've found is country creamery. Even comes in what looks like the old container.

I have used Country Crock for 20 years, but since you have changed your recipe to the "New simpler recipe", I am changing brands. This is the worst tasting margarine ever to hit the grocery store shelves. It's like spreading something from the garbage can on my bread. I will not be buying Country Crock again unless they change it back.

My whole life we have been loyal to this great product, but now after this new formulation, it has forced us to rethink our favorite recipes. The shape of the container really didn't matter, it was the taste of the product that turned me away. And this is the only thing my grocery store sells!! Please bring back the product we so loyally purchased for 20+ years!

We had been using Country Crock for so long I can't even remember when we started? Two weeks ago I bought the new 5lb tub, It taste rancid, I will throw away the tub today. You say "original" and you give it a new taste, It's not original anymore! however if you don't go back to the old taste you may be out of business soon. It is terrible. Like one of the reviews said "If it ain't broke don't fix it" I am sorry I even have to rate it. It dose not deserve a rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For years I have sworn by Country Crock spread. This new "original recipe" I don't even know what to say, it is horrid. I am looking for a new butter since this recipe tastes just bitter, not to mention the new packaging is just bad. I have become accustom to the round tub and now this small square crate of bitter dissatisfaction. We purchased the product, opened it for use on our Biscuits for breakfast. My kids refused it after one bite, my wife and I both just dumped our biscuits and threw away the still full box of dissatisfaction. "If it aint broke don't fix it".

I don't know what was changed but this isNOT the original recipe I used to be able toe at this on my toast. It now leaned a nasty aftertaste. After using this product for years I've had to change. Tired of the nasty taste and getting sick from it Not the only one who has noticed a nasty aftertaste in my house hold either

We have used country crock original for many years. Sorry to say we will not be using it any more. Your new "simple recipe" original is way off base, flavor wise. I think this is a bad move. Why mess with something that worked. You lost another customer.

I am received a coupon for free country crock full size butter from Influenster by Country Crock. I had chosen the one with Calcium. I used in my my Coconut flour dark chocolate chip cookies. It was so moist, yummy, and did not burn. It also has less calories and fat than regular butter. It has such an addictive taste, I would put the Country Crock butter on many baked goods and food items. I have made a collage showing my baking steps with Country Crock butter. All opinions are my own.
