Change it back

Anyone who uses Country Crock for a long time has now noticed the flavor change and your food taste like that flavor. Mac and cheese tadte aweful, eggs etc.. They changed the ingredients in it and it is nasty. I know this, I use to merchandise it and had to go through a complete PK training in Atlanta for it.

Great flavor and adds a yummy flavor to any meal

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with the flavor and texture of Country Crock Original. It really tastes great on toast, a bagel or even melted on vegetables like broccoli. I find I only need a little to add a nice boost of flavor to my meals. The whole family enjoys Country Crock Original too including my children.

I'm not impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically only use butter however, decided to try this product. It is extremely salty, has an undesirable texture and a strange after taste. I think it may be okay for baking but it's definitely not something I'll try again.

Terrible new spread

Remember the old saying-----"if it isn't broke, don't fix it"---------the original spread was great-----my great grandson loved it. I bought some of the new and spread it on bread for him and he refused to eat it saying it was "not good". Threw it away and won't buy any more

I don't know what was changed but this isNOT the original recipe I used to be able toe at this on my toast. It now leaned a nasty aftertaste. After using this product for years I've had to change. Tired of the nasty taste and getting sick from it Not the only one who has noticed a nasty aftertaste in my house hold either

Lactose-Free & It Spreads So Well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never realized Country Crock was lactose-free. Now that I know it is, I'm super excited to have another margarine I can eat, particularly one that is less expensive than the other lactose-free options. Its consistency is spot on; it spreads so easily! And the taste is buttery goodness.

Very disappointed!!

As I read over everyone else's reviews it's obvious that my family isn't the only one that finds your "new recipe" disgusting. My family and I have ONLY purchased your product for over 30 years and absolutely loved the flavor it added to our dishes. Now, if I add this to anything my children will NOT eat it. My little girl loved baked potatoes and now she won't touch them due to the change in your product. It's sad that for some reason companies feel the need to change a product that has been successful for many years and it ALWAYS changes for the worse never the better. I suggestion if consumers want simpler ingredients then that's fine but don't stop making the more flavorful butter. I suggest you sell both of them. The supplier ones for those who like it and the REAL original for all us who have enjoyed it for 30+ years.

Wish They Had A Vegan Version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been reading the labels on everything that I consume since I went completely vegan about a year ago. I thought that this spread might be vegan since it is more of a vegetable spread the actual butter. All of the ingredients sound fine, except for the vitamin d3, which sadly is usually not derived from a plant source, but rather from lanolin washed from lamb's wool, or something like that. That definitely makes it something that I'd prefer not to eat. If they eventually make a vegan version, I'd be happy to try it. I did purchase this product with a coupon before realizing that it was non vegan. I received a coupon for this product in exchange for my unbiased review.

Really liked it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product for free. I will totally recommend this 'cause you can spread some in a piece of bread without adding anything else and it will taste amazing! It's really soft and doesn't have a strong flavor or smell and is not salty! What I like the most is that is not greasy at all, it's actually kind of creamy. Love it on sandwiches, but I also used it for any food that requires butter.

OMG It's not just me!

I've been buying and using your butter for years, but the last batch I just picked up was bad. Or so I thought. Turns out the product has changed and not only are they in silly little packages but the taste is outright pathetic. Real butter from now on! I may try you guys again if I see the package change, now I have associated it with poor quality butter.
