I had used this product for years and loved it but since the change in recipe, I will never use it again. I thought something was wrong with my taste buds. This new recipe is awful. I switched to Blue Bonnet. If there was a very poor button I would of used that to rate.

If I could give the "New Simple Recipe" zero stars I would. It is absolutely disgusting. Why in the world would they change it except for maybe trying to pull a few extra cents profit out of each tub. I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the real "Original" Country Crock.... Now my butter money goes to Land O Lakes....

I couldn't find my butter on the shelf and realized it was replaced with this. I was upset that the shape of the container was changed but figured I'd get used to it. However, this product is terrible. Why couldn't you just put the same butter into a new container? Was this a cost savings change or a push due to recent changes in FDA regulations?

Shed Spread Country Crock has been a staple in our house for 15+ years, the change to the New Simple Recipe was a huge mistake. Taste is terrible! The first, new simple recipe, container we purchased had an unusual taste and had seperated from the sides. Looked strange and when turned upside down water just poured out. Tried using Country Crock in Mashed Potatoes as we always do and we couldn't eat them. Thinking that this container may have spoiled we tossed it out and purchased a 2nd time. Big mistake because results were the same! We have used Country Crock in so many things, always pleased and never worried how it would turn out. I'm left with no other choice but to find a replacement. By reading other reviews I am not the only one that takes alot of pride in the meals we prepare and it is a shame that this "New Simple Recipe" is an end of once was a great product!

Please bring back the original country crock butter.  The new recipe has a weird taste.  I'll be changing to something else, it's a waste of our money buying it when no one in the house wants to use it.  The taste ruins what ever you put it on. You should have left it the way it was.

The taste is inferior to butter and why would anyone put all of these chemicals in their body when a tiny bit of natural butter would do the trick. Would never buy for myself. I received this product free in exchange for an honest review.

new packaging is ok but the new and improved taste, is terrible. Been eating this product for many yrs and will not eat it again. After getting home with new large tub, told my wife that it tasted like the HEB brand which is really bad,then found out she did indeed buy Country Crock. Sorry you have lost me as a customer.

I have been a faithful customer for over 20 years. When I purchased this product 2 weeks ago, I thought they had just changed the packaging. Boy, was I wrong. The taste is terrible. I will no longer purchase this product. Does "new Coke" sound familiar?

I didn't realize the new tub was actually a new recipe until after I used it and thought it tasted too salty. It is also way softer than the original. However, the biggest problem is you can't cook with it. I tried cooking eggs in bread and it stuck in the pan even with cooking spray. Also, I tried sautéing with it and after it melted it left a hard clump of what looked like plastic, very unappetizing. Please switch back to the original recipe that we all know and love!!

Please go back to the old recipe and the round tub it is in . we have always used country crock butter but since the new recipe and new square shape . I will be buying something else it is not good and makes my food taste weired PLEASE GO BACK THE WAY IT WAS. THANKS
