Last week we purchased the new recipe, didn't really pay attention that it said new recipe at the time, just a new container. At dinner time we thought that our mashed potatoes had a bad taste and thought it must have been a bad bag of potatoes. The next morning made toast bread with butter and now know it was not the potatoes. It tastes so bad we didn't even finish the container, threw it away and are in the process of trying other brands. If anything they could have came out with a second option for those that wanted more healthy, or what ever reason they thought they needed to change to recipe. Can only hope they go back to the original recipe.

We have been using your original spread for over 12 years and have always loved it. We love it for all of our recipes as well as just putting on a piece of bread or a roll. We just bought some in the new container and when both my husband and I as well as our children went to take a bite of the bread we had just buttered with the "new" original spread we all looked at each other and had to spit it out in a napkin. Why would you mess with a very tasty successful product? A very unhappy customer.

After growing up using the ever-so-delectable Original Country Crock butter, I was extremely disappointed to taste the horrific changes made to this recipe. By taking out the artificial flavors, the butter is lacking the great flavor that I associated with Country Crock butter. The lack of artificial flavoring "butter" be adding years to my life if I must sacrifice great taste for a "healthier option'.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. I have used this butter for as far back as I could remember. But yesterday will be my last purchase. This tastes horrible. It makes food taste funny and my children, who will eat anything, refused to eat the French toast because it tasted bad. I will unfortunately have to look for a new butter to use.

I don't know what you all did to my Country Crock but it taste horrible (how it really taste starts with a c but I guess you consider that profanity) now. I am taking it back to the store, and will not be buying this product any further. There is a saying if it ain't broke don't fix it....there was no reason to fix this product.

I used to put country crock on everything. I loved it more than regular butter. This new original formula is the absolute worst! It makes it seem like the butter is sour. I wish they didn't mess with the original flavor and in turn created a new flavor for this horrible excuse for butter. I'm so heartbroken, I can never have the delicious taste of the REAL original country crock ever again. Won't be buying this again.

I too bought the Original Country Crock butter and my son tried it twice and said this butter is bad. I thought the same so I went and returned it and then I picked up the Calcium Country crock. Definitely not our taste buds. Why the change? I have been using Country Crock for at least 15 years and now I have to start over. Until they switch back I won't be buying this brand again.

Started using the product years ago, because it didn't taste like butter, which I dislike and cannot eat. But since the new recipe came out I will be hitting stores to stock up on old flavor. Then when I run out, will find new spread.

I use only Country crock on my biscuits and rolls . BUT... The yellow dye us use stains fine linen rolls bread tray liners. Not even Colrox or multiple washings will remove the stain, Could you please investigate this and CHANGE your Dye.

I switched to Blue Bonnet. Closest thing I have found to the old country crock taste. Looks like they are losing a lot of loyal customers over something that wasn't broke!
