When it works it’s great, but we’ve had it less than a month and at least 4 times when trying to make a single cup it will not brew. I unplug it to reset itself (read that in directions for trouble shooting) but usually that takes 3 or 4 resets before it brews.

loved the cuisinart coffee pot when i first got it! after using for approximately 2 weeks the pod side quit working & i cleaned it as directed in the service manuel. it worked for about 2 days only! we can only use the craft side only! i no longer have the box so i cannot return it. i have used alot of cuisinart products but disappointed in this coffee pot!

I switched to this Cuisinart from a Keurig. The amount of actual coffee from a K-cup using a Kuerig was short of expected settings every time. Often by 30% or more. Same was true for the pot. Set for 12 cups it made only 8. I did 2 full cleanings with no change. The Cuisnart produces the correct number of ounces time and time again. It is faster than the Keurig and the coffee produced is more flavorful. It is also more economical as there were way too many times I need to use a second K-cup to fill my mug.

I would have have given this 5 stars but, when making a pot of coffee in the timer mode, you can't use the BOLD option when brewing the coffee. I have only had this for about 3 weeks so time will tell how long until it has issues as some of the other people have reviewed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Returning it. The grounds spilled over in the basket just like many reviews stated. However, many had no problems stated in the reviews, so i have ordered another one. We will hope this one works properly

We bought one, got it home and unpacked and it wasn’t working on the pod side. Had no issues exchanging it other than an hour drive back to the store one way. The second one has been working fine. I made sure to register it for warranty just in case!

Inconsistent fill amount on single serve side. We have had 4 units due to pods exploding. Makes a mess. Bottom needle needs a larger opening so it doesn't.t clog and explode. Cuisinart has been great about replacing the units at no charge but it would be nice to have a trouble free coffee maker.

I always trust the Cuisinart brand for kitchen appliances. We've had several Cuisinart coffeemakers and this is a replacement of a model that brews both k-cup and 12-cup carafe. This one adds an option for ice coffee, which we haven't used yet. Frankly, I wish we could ditch the need for k-cup, but our household includes both full-caf and decaf drinkers. Pros: nice looking; small footprint for what it offers; strong brew option; trusted brand; includes charcoal and gold tone filters. Cons: k-cup side needs to brew at higher temp; carafe can leak while pouring; when carafe is on the warming plate, it's too easy to accidentally turn off warming plate to brew a k-cup (I've searched online for support to address this with no luck).

We love the redesign of the new machine!! It brews consistently good coffee with a pod or regular pot. No complaints.Love that you can pick a size for the pod side. Very convenient for smaller mugs. Hoping this will last as long as our old one which was around 15 years old.
