Great coffee maker, both options pod and carafe are functional at the same time so if I have a full pot brewing someone else can do a pod of a specialty coffee if desired, auto start is also a good option, size is perfect because it slides under the upper cabinets and it doesn’t take lot of space.

The machine was delivered and after 6-7 uses it was everything we wanted it to be. Unfortunately within 1 week during a thunderstorm, there was a lightening strike which blew oit the blue back light of the machine making it very difficult to see the settings. Not sure what my course of actuon will be at this time.

Love the looks and options of this. Coffeemaker. Theo lyvissue i have Hadia that it sometimes will not brew the single cup. It spits and steam comes out then it stops, with only a tablespoon of brewed coffee. It ruins the pod, so I have had to toss it. This happens only at the first use of the day. Subsequent brews work great. Sometimes I just brew first cup of day without the pod and it works fine. I think this is an individual issue with my machine. I do want to say customer service is awesome at Cuisinart. They are wonderful and professional.

I love this coffee maker station. I was hesitant to get it as I’d seen reviews of people having issues with the pods so of course that was the 1st thing I tested because I generally make 1 cup a day and it worked beautifully. The carafe also comes in handy. It’s fast for both in my opinion. This is a space saver as you’re getting 2 in one. It’s also a stylish addition to the kitchen. Even though I haven’t tried features like setting up a schedule or even brewing over ice, I would recommend this coffee maker

Love this coffeemaker! My husband is snooty about his coffee, and this Cuisinart machine makes a perfect cup for him. Meanwhile I’m just happy to have caffeine, and I can grab a quick single cup with a pod. Had it almost a month and no issues. Looks good too!

We bought this to replace our old Keurig Duo and returned it. It isn't tall enough to fit travel mugs under the pod side without taking the drip tray apart. Even then you can't get the full mug out without spilling coffee. The carafe leaks when pouring. It made weird noises while it was keeping the carafe warm. Having 2 water reservoirs wasn't convenient.

This is a great and (so far) reliable coffee maker. I was fed up with the terrible quality and construction and unreliability of Keurig coffee makers. They’ve really become increasingly worse over the years. This coffee maker has allowed me to keep using all of the pods & accessories we already have as well as to brew drip into a carafe. BTW both methods make better coffee than any of the Keurigs I’ve owned. This unit has all of the important features while remaining simple and intuitive to use. It also looks good! There are 2 reasons I gave 4 (instead of 5) stars: 1. The ‘Bold’ feature only works for the drip brewer side (it should REALLY be available for pod brewing too). 2. Cuisinart should really offer a stainless, thermal carafe for this brewer (even if it’s just as an optional, additional purchase).

We've owned at least 3 of the previous model, and continue to find this the best coffee pot for our needs. We need two water reservoirs because we have a water softener and the ions in the softened water cause the single cups to clog. We use purchased filtered water for the single cup reservoir and regular tap water for the carafe side. The new design has the pot on the right side, which makes it easier for those of us who are right handed to fill (sorry lefties). The programming has been tweaked to be quite straightforward. I only wish we could brew on the bold setting when auto programming.

I had both a single coffee maker and a 12 cup coffee maker. Together, they took up too much counter space and I was moving my 12 cup maker to the pantry when we did not have company. Then, I was introduced to the 2-1 coffee maker. I reviewed several makes and settled on the Cuisinart. The quality, price, and reputation helped guide my decision. I was able to use the Coffee Center over the holidays when we had family and guests for several days. We made the correct choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Makes a good tasting cup of coffee downside, after brewing only a few (less than 10) cups of coffee from pods, it blew grounds everywhere and displayed an error code. Husband cleaned it up inside the pod brewer and ran some water thru. Now if we brew by pod we follow up with a plain water wash out brew. Somewhat inconvenient to have to tip open carafe water compartment. It's too tall or our upper cabinets are too low, either way we have to slide out to the edge of the counter to use. The lid for the glass pot doesn't open like other brands. This one snaps on at the back
