I bought this coffee maker as a replacement for a previous one that stopped working. This is a newer design and the Pod side has been reversed, now being on the left which is awkward for a right handed person. I personally think the added fold down platform for shorter cups/mugs is unnecessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this because our last one died on us. This one is nice, but we have a few items we think could be improved. The water fill is in the back left corner and hard to reach for my wife who is 5’ 6” tall. She an average height female, but on our counter it is hard to reach the water storage area for single cup coffee. We also find it annoying that in order to fill my travel mug, I have to do two brews, one for 8 ounces and one for 6 ounces to fill my travel mug. The give you like 4 different fill sizes but 14 ounces isn’t one of them. Another nuisance is to fill my 14 ounce travel mug, I have to remove the two piece bottom cup stand in order to slide my travel mug under the k-cup dispenser, which is annoying. The little fold down shelf for a normal cup is great. We like the carafe brewing features that this coffee maker offers. We also like the looks of this machine. We do. Like it, just need to get used to dealing with some work-arounds.

Purchased this coffee maker for the features, the ability to single serve or use the carafe because we have purchased two other coffee makers from Cuisinart in the past with excellent results. Unfortunately, this model did not work right out of the box, issues with the controls & buttons, they did not work properly even when following the instructions in the manual. The single serve side would not work at all. Promptly returned it after reading about others having same issue. Where is the Quality Control, obviously Cuisinart has a problem with this model.

Was debating on two manufacturers but happy I chose Cusinart. Great coffee & does not drip when you are pouring from a full carafe. Good looking on the counter & reasonable price. My previous coffee maker was same brand but did not have the single serve feature.

Machine is nice-originally wouldn’t turn on. Had to watch a YouTube video showing some secret button that needs to be pressed to activate the machine which did work. controls are a little difficult to understand instruction manual a little vague machine works nice otherwise

The coffee maker works well concerning making coffee but I’m disappointed with two aspects of it. It is advertised to be able to accommodate larger 12 oz coffee containers but I have two coffee cups to go with lids and neither will fit on the pod side of the maker. I have to use a regular mug and then pour the coffee into the larger container which is annoying. Also the pods “leak” coffee grounds into the pod holder of the dispenser which is a mess to clean up.

I always buy Cuisinart for the quality and customer service. The 2:1 coffee maker boils over coffee if the filter is not in just right. The single pod coffee part spits water in it so hard sometimes coffee grinds get in the cup. The buttons have to be pushed in the correct order or they dont work. But the coffee is good and I like the adjustable carafe heat and different pod options.

Don't waste your money on this coffeemaker. We've had Cuisinart models for years with minimal issues, but wanted a dual coffeemaker. Right out of the box (after cleaning), the single cup side of this is totally dysfunctional. It sprays everywhere. Yes, I cleaned it out. I did all the things. Two out of every three cups are filled with grounds and spraying. The carafe side - no issues. I'm taking it back and already have a much cheaper dual coffeemaker that works like a dream. Cuisinart, you've lost a customer for life.

I have had many auto coffee makers, but this one is the easiest to operate a few buttons and my wife is enjoying her K-cup, and I have the Carafe for coffee, did I say it's so easy to fill too, and the 3 heat settings makes it a Keeper for this family.

loved the cuisinart coffee pot when i first got it! after using for approximately 2 weeks the pod side quit working & i cleaned it as directed in the service manuel. it worked for about 2 days only! we can only use the craft side only! i no longer have the box so i cannot return it. i have used alot of cuisinart products but disappointed in this coffee pot!
