I love Cuisinart coffee makers for their ease of use and great tasting coffee. However, this one is a flop for me. When you poor the water into the carafe side, it leaks down onto the heating plate. (It will eventually rust like my last two Cuisinart coffee makers did.) I emailed the company several times about this. Then the pod side did not work correctly. It pierced a large hole in the top of the pod so that all the grounds made a huge mess everywhere and you could not drink the coffee. I tried several times and cleaned up several messes. I finally called Cuisinart and they gave me a few pointers but it still did not work. So they told me to return it. A sad Christmas gift and a big disapponitment. I wanted to offer my guests a choice.

Love this combo! My husband wakes up before I do and uses the single serve (he drinks anything and doesn't mind waiting for the coffee to brew). I wake up and use the carafe because I love good strong coffee and want my coffee NOW. We are a Cuisinart household--I think I may have almost a dozen Cuisinart brands because they're well made and they last a long time.

Love the looks and options of this. Coffeemaker. Theo lyvissue i have Hadia that it sometimes will not brew the single cup. It spits and steam comes out then it stops, with only a tablespoon of brewed coffee. It ruins the pod, so I have had to toss it. This happens only at the first use of the day. Subsequent brews work great. Sometimes I just brew first cup of day without the pod and it works fine. I think this is an individual issue with my machine. I do want to say customer service is awesome at Cuisinart. They are wonderful and professional.

Purchased this coffee maker for the features, the ability to single serve or use the carafe because we have purchased two other coffee makers from Cuisinart in the past with excellent results. Unfortunately, this model did not work right out of the box, issues with the controls & buttons, they did not work properly even when following the instructions in the manual. The single serve side would not work at all. Promptly returned it after reading about others having same issue. Where is the Quality Control, obviously Cuisinart has a problem with this model.

We have always loved Cuisinart appliances. This is no exception. When our Keurig died we started looking for an option that would do both the k-cups and pot. This is the nicest one on the market. Easy to understand and straightforward. We love it!

The coffee maker is good. It makes a great cup of hot coffee. Single cup is quick too. This model's height is a little shorter than the previous model I had so I can have it under my cabinet/shelf without having to pull it out from underneath the cabinet. The reservoir is on the back right side; my previous model was on the left. Right-handed people found pouring on the left side was awkward and messy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would definitely buy again. The option of 1-cup vs a carafe is wonderful. The looks and value of the Cuisinart is unsurpassable. Not many coffee pots come in white anymore (my pick). That was a plus. its pretty enough to leave out on the countertop . So many features too--iced coffee, 4,6,8,10 oz pods!

The coffee maker works well concerning making coffee but I’m disappointed with two aspects of it. It is advertised to be able to accommodate larger 12 oz coffee containers but I have two coffee cups to go with lids and neither will fit on the pod side of the maker. I have to use a regular mug and then pour the coffee into the larger container which is annoying. Also the pods “leak” coffee grounds into the pod holder of the dispenser which is a mess to clean up.

Makes great coffee, both brewed and Keurig. One bad feature is that you have to set it to bold every time you do a brew and there’s no way to set it to bold for a timed brew in the future. If you want it bold you should be able to get it bold every time you do a brew. Need to fix this.

We bought the Coffee Center 2-in-1 Coffeemaker after a recent visit to my sisters home. I told her that we just had to finally replace our old Cuisinart 12 cup programable coffee maker after it developed an internal leak after many years of service. We purchased a new Cuisinart 12 cup "stainless steel" programable coffee maker and were soon disappointed with the machine. First of all unlike our old machine it was almost entirely made of plastic and felt like it was low quality. Additionally the carafe did not pour correctly and often we would end up with water (while filling) or coffee (while pouring) if it poured too fast on the counter top. Liquid would spill over the sides of the spout. Within a couple of months we decided to replace the new 12 cup with the 2-in-1 machine. We have been presently surprised and enjoy programing as well as the K cup feature. Cuisinart has been redeemed in my opinion. Now I just need to decide what to do with the "new" 12-cup machine that caused much disappointment!
