This is my third Cuisinart coffee maker. I like the dual option and most often use the single serve side. I had to replace my second one due to leaking after just a year and when I bought its replacement, I had to return it because the single serve side didn't work. Its replacement seems to be ok but the clock does not light up. I was tired of returning so just kept it. If I didn't like this so much, I would have bought another brand.

We previously had a Cuisinart coffeemaker with the built-in coffee grinder. It worked great until it started to leak. We saw the reviews for the SS-16, 2-in-1 model because we also had an Keurig that was taking up counter space and thought the 2-in-1 configuration would fit our needs better. Just in case, we also ordered an operator Keurig, but it arrived a couple of days later and we returned it. The reviews we read before we bought we not very flattering, but our Cuisinart is working perfectly. We have only had it for about a month. Based on our experience with it so far, I would probably update my rating to 5 stars.

I love my coffee center coffeemaker! I use it everyday to make a delicious pot of coffee and then I use the single serving maker when I need an afternoon pick me up or have guest that wants decaffeinated or flavored coffee! This is the second time I've purchased this unit, my last unit was also wonderful, it worked perfectly fine, I just saw this one and decided it was time for a new one! We recently had weekend guests and she will be purchasing a Cuisinart coffee center to replace her Kureig.

This coffee maker is great because it gives me options. I can brew a full pot when I need it, or just make a single cup when I'm in a hurry. It's easy to use and doesn't take long to heat up. It's a great choice if you want one machine that can handle both everyday use and quick cups without taking up extra space on the counter.

the item wasn't functioning correctly. used it for a general high-use day and the warmer apparently got too hot and fell down into the machine. also, the unit did not brew and pour as it should and the units finish is very easily susceptible to scratching and blemishes. wiping it off coming out of the box left small micro scratches and it dulled the shine. I think they're on the right track with these set-ups but I think durability and longevity may poise a problem for such a pricy unit.

The coffee (ground or pod) comes out great. The one thing that I don't like about it is that the water level gauge on the right side of the machine is too small to see clearly, I literally have to turn the machine 90 degrees so I can see how much water to pour in. The window of the gauge needs to be made much wider.

I really am impressed with this Cuisinart coffee maker. You can use pods or make a full pot or even iced coffee. After 3 dead Keurigs in 3 years, I'd had enough. I had a Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker several years ago and loved it so I thought I give this one a try. We use the pods during the week and the pot on weekends. I am not disappointed with my purchase, it's worth the money. I got the black with stainless trim so I guess you need to read all the details when ordering and selecting to make sure you do get stainless.

I have owned other Cuisinart coffee makers in the past and had pretty good luck with them. My last coffee maker was a Keurig that had the carafe and pod together. So when mine finally quit working I decided to try this one because it does both. The K cups work great in this one, which is really important, and both sides make excellent coffee. I’m pleased with it so far and enjoy making coffee everyday and have not been let down. I own other Cuisinart products so I know the quality of this brand and decided to go back to it…glad I did!! Looking forward to years of great service and reliability.

We love this coffeemaker! The coffee brews quickly, we have options for bold coffee, and three options for temperature of the coffee once it is brewed. Single serve offers options for iced coffee as well as hot coffee and tea, and the unit is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. So happy we chose Cuisinart!

Leaks from a mystery place. I am keeping it set up on a ceramic tray that will hold all the water that leaks out of this thing over night. It makes truly great coffee, so I am tolerating it, and it is the latest in a substantial line of Cuisinart coffeemakers residing in my kitchen. This is the second one I have ever had that I am just not completely happy with….
