It is a mouse. I only use it for simple functions. I use it with my laptop and travel with it. What I really liked about, which was a surprise, was the wireless dongle storage inside the battery compartment. Now I don't have to worry about something sticking out of my USB port and catching something. What would have made it the perfect mouse for me is if it came with a traveling pouch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a razer pro click mini before this mouse and want to say logi offers better quality for less money. Buttons and wheal are truly silent, and mouse feels great in hand. Pleasant materials. I am more than satisfied with the purchase.

Despite the fact that a lot of us lefty mouse users are naturally right handed - it's more efficient - there are precious few models out there offering anything like the range of functionality available in right handed designs. This M650 is an exception and the controls have a good range of built in and customizable features. Mine are quite basic but I do like to add copy, cut and paste functions to the additional, left, center and right side buttons. When I set it up it showed a battery status of 80%. Within days this had risen to 85% so now I need to find a house sized one for all my electric needs.

I am left-handed and the M650 fits my hand really well - especially the back buttons on the right side of the mouse. My hand no longer hurts when I use this mouse for protracted periods of time - which is every day. Also, this mouse is very quiet, but with good hand and finger-feel when clicking the buttons. Overall, very well done. I have been looking for a mouse like this for years and now I have found it!
