I had about 14 bags of this stuff put in when I transitioned my pool to salt water. They should have dissolved them first in a bucket, but instead they were immediately dumped right in. Brushing around helped dissolve them, and then we ran the robot vacuum without the bag, which helped. All in all, good product, happy with it.

Great transaction! I ordered 11 bags online early afternoon one Friday for pick up Friday evening. It was very efficient process because I went to the service counter and the salt was all ready for pick up. All I had to do was wheel the cart of 11- 40lb bags of salt out to my car to load. Defintely recommend this way of buying salt for a pool.

I just converted my 45 year old pool to a salt chlorinator after refinishing it. I wanted to be certain with the product I used and chose pool salt by Morton. The newer style bags are easy to move with the built-in handle and once you get the hang of using the ez tear away corner, opening and pouring is a breeze. The first day I brought them home, a rain storm came through. I was worried moisture might get into the bags but not one had any problems. It did require me to agitate a little to help dissolve it but that was not a problem. I've purchased a total of thirty-one 40 lb. bags from Wal-Mart. The price is right and it's $4 a bag less than what my local pool store sells.

Item just as listed but they did not follow my delivery instructions. I asked for them to be placed in a certain area and they left them on the front stem. if they were going to leave it in the wrong location, they could at lease put them on the porch so they are not as easily seen.

Is dissolves well, however when bags have been sitting for a while in the store they can turn yellow and hard. Then it can become an algae problem. If that happens again I will return the bad bag. Other than that is affordable compared to pool store. Even though it has gone up a couple of dollars from last year.

Multiple bags were littered with lots of little pebbles, which of course you don't realize until they're all on the bottom of your pool after the salt dissolves, which it takes a rather while to do because it's fairly large pieces of salt. Not happy.

This salt has changed from fine powdery salt to very low quality huge salt crystals with a lot of little rocks that fall to the bottom of the pool that the vacuum will not pick up. Feels really rough on the feet. Not buying this salt again until the original quality returns.

The Walmart store website stated they had plenty in stock at our neighborhood store but when we got there, there was no Morton pool salt. We finished our shopping and once home we did an online order for 6 bags. Our order was delivered the next day, no shipping charge, fast delivery. Happy campers here !!!
