Unlike usually getting the bag of sale to increase my salt concentration by 400 points this one only rose it by 300 barely. It also took a while for it to dissolve completely.

I ordered (6) bags, WalMart billed me for (6), then they delivered (3). No clue where the other (3) went. Theyre now out of stock and WalMart cant fulfill the order.

The salt crystals are large and take forever to dissolve. There is also a ton of impurities in the salt itself. Really disappointed in this product. I'll stay away from Morton Pool Salt in the future.

We had a leak in our pool ,so we needed quite a bit of bags of salt for our pool. Thank goodness Walmart had it in stalk and for a great price. We also get all of our pool needs at Walmart.

This product does the job for salt pools. Because of the medium sized crystals, you will need to brush mix them into your pool. Or use a bucket and dissolve that way.

I've purchased different brands of pool salt before and this one was the cheapest price, but beware this salt if full of “other” things. It had large black and brown particles throughout the bag. You can see them settle on the floor of the pool.

Great transaction! I ordered 11 bags online early afternoon one Friday for pick up Friday evening. It was very efficient process because I went to the service counter and the salt was all ready for pick up. All I had to do was wheel the cart of 11- 40lb bags of salt out to my car to load. Defintely recommend this way of buying salt for a pool.

I just converted my 45 year old pool to a salt chlorinator after refinishing it. I wanted to be certain with the product I used and chose pool salt by Morton. The newer style bags are easy to move with the built-in handle and once you get the hang of using the ez tear away corner, opening and pouring is a breeze. The first day I brought them home, a rain storm came through. I was worried moisture might get into the bags but not one had any problems. It did require me to agitate a little to help dissolve it but that was not a problem. I've purchased a total of thirty-one 40 lb. bags from Wal-Mart. The price is right and it's $4 a bag less than what my local pool store sells.

This Pool Salt was an awful choice! Even when delivered and opened fresh, the bag contained dozens of large chunks of crystalized salt. With many of the chunks, shovel marks where it was put into the bag were evident. The crystals were sooo much larger and coarser than the Clorox salt, resulting in longer prep time, longer dissolve time, and overall customer dis-satisfaction !!
