Every year my in-ground pool chlorine generator needs additional pool salt. I've always purchased this from Wal-Mart. I order on-line then pick it up at the local store where it the 40lb bags are loaded in my trunk. The price and service are great. The Morton Salt dissolves easily and cleanly into the pool. The handle on the bag is very helpful in lifting and moving the bags.

My Pool uses salt not chemicals. My water is crystal clear. No issues and this is our 2nd year. The first year a friend told us to but it at Walmart for the lowest price and he was right. But getting help to locate it in the store was a difficult no one knew what I was talking about. So this year I ordered it online and picked up at the store to save time. It saved some time but still was some issues at pick up

Wal-Mart $6, pool store $20. A little bit of work on my part hauling it from the car to the pool (WalMart loaded it into my car! yay!). But I bought 12 bags...you do the math. Serious savings. And it's a great product...dissolved fast. My only gripe is that I think I bought my store's entire inventory! Stock up Walmart...you could sell a LOT more if you had more. I came back for three more bags and you were out.

I converted to a salt water pool last year and haven't looked back! I use Morton because it was told to me that it desolves easily, reducing pool downtime which is EXTREMELY important in my house! I haven't tried others, but it works beautifully so why change? Love it and so.do.the the kids!!

I ordered this on line and when I went to pick it up at the store it was $.50 a bag less at the store. I payed $6.38 on line and it was $5.82 at the store. I saw the store display while waking back to pick up my order or I would have payed a 10% penalty for buying on line. The salt worked great in my pool .

Cheaper and much better quality than the salt that I buy at my pool store. Actually dissolves in about half the time of the pool store's most fine salt, and is about half the price. Doesn't have any funky additives either.

I put 560 lbs in my swimming pool to convert to a salt system. It dissolved overnight and seemed to leave no residue. The bags are great with carrying handles and very sturdy to carry and pour.

Did not see this in the store. Ordered it on line and picked it up the same day. Price per bag was half what my local pool store sells it for. Works great.

I was kind of disappointed this time. 2 of the 4 bags were rock hard. The bags looked beaten and old and 1 was ripped. I like the product just fine and will buy again one more time. If I have the same experience next time I'll start to buy elsewhere. An honorable shout out to the girl who helped me at 'pick-up' it wasn't her department and she just jumped right in when I asked for someone quickly because I had frozen groceries in the car!!!

the salt itself was fine, but there were so many impurities in it. tiny jagged pebbles and metal shards that could have easily cut the liner had someone stepped on them
