The mattress itself it much heavier than our previous mattress, which probably has to do with all the different layers. We both run hot at night, and we haven't had issues with it being too hot with this mattress. I would definitely recommend a hybrid mattress as it provides comfort and breathability.

So comfortable, we selected the medium firmness and we sleep better than we have in a long time, very little movement when we turn over, our prior bed made each other wake up with slightest movement. I was struggling to get good sleep and my mattress was causing me a lot of joint pain. I have never liked firm mattresses before, so I thought I had chosen a medium firmness. When I received the mattress it was very firm. I decided to give it some time. Quickly I noticed I was falling asleep faster and staying asleep. I felt more rested, even as a new mom. Over time the mattress began to soften a little, but still provided a lot of good support. My body and joints don’t hurt as much, and I find the cooling technology seems to be working. I am really impressed with this mattress.

I just started sleeping on this mattress and it has a horrible bubble in the middle. This is the cool calming queen mattress. It's a replacement for a different mattress from serta and it only lasted 6 months before the sides started caving in. I will never buy a serta mattress again.

It makes my bed look like it is raised up higher, it is very cooling, and doesn’t feel too hard. Definitely recommend if you are in the search for a new mattress!
