These shelves were an excellent value - especially so being on closeout. They are solid, well made, and easily assembled. The only additional feature that I could want would be leveling screw-type feet on each leg. I would be willing to pay extra for such but apparently it is not an Edsal option. I had read of delivery woes from others, but mine were fine having been shipped to the store. They are heavy boxes indeed and will not stand up to much abuse in transit. On the whole, I am very pleased.

I read the other reviews and was excited about this find. Then it arrived... Talk about cheaply made! I able to easily bend the metal bars with little to no effort. The shelves are pressed board that arrived damaged. And hardware isn't included to attach the end pieces together. I regret this purchase 100%

DO NOT PURCHASE THESE SHELVES!!! The reason they are so cheap is they cannot be put together properly because they do not come with the CPOUT couplers! I had to spend another $100 getting the extra pieces I needed to assemble the shelves so they looked like the picture(I bought 3 shelving units). This is the reason they are so much cheaper at Walmart! Just buy them at Lowe's and save yourself from this headache!

Arrived on time, heavy. I began installing the parts. It appeared to be a bit weak for the weights is was claimed to hold. The corner supports were clearly unsuitable. The unit was 72" tall using two separate pieces, joined ONLY by the side rails. Flimsy, and non stable is my opinion. I needed the shelving for my garage clean-up. I compromised. I put a rope around the side rails, under the shelving to bind them from bowing outward when weighted and due to the fragile vertical support, I built two units 36" each. Not exactly what I was hoping for but, I will use it now with a bit more confidence. With the 24" deep shelves, I can benefit by side to side storage. It will be usable to me now and lower for seeing and lifting onto.

When the boxes the rack came in the boxes were a little tattered, however, all of the pieces were intact. The racks when together easily, requiring only an occasional tap with a hammer. We are using the racks for general household items. Those who may want to use them for heavier items should plan on using ( purchasing ) a sturdier wood shelving.

this product was easy for me to install by myself. i am a senior. it came when it was suppose to and the delivery person was very plesant and placed it where i asked. the shelving will hold up to what i need to put on it without buckleing or sagging. very strong.

I requested the large heavy box be left at my garage but it was left on the front porch. after finally inspecting the box i saw that one corner was extremely damaged and part of the inner boxes and shelves were exposed. after opening the box i found the two boxes were both crushed on both ends and the poles were falling out. one of the wooden shelves was also slightly damaged. i would hold fex ex responsible for damaging the package and contents.

One of the pegs on one of the bars had too much powder coat and had to be stripped to get it to fit. And it's easier if you have a second set of hands just to help you steady the pieces until you get it stable. All in all easy to assemble and sturdy! I would purchase again.

This is the second time I've bought this particular shelving unit, which tells you that the first one got high marks from me. Assembly is very easy, even for a woman doing it on her own. The unit is solid and sturdy and helps to keep the garage organized. Additionally, delivery was made on schedule, which was amazing considering the volume of pandemic shopping from home.

Sturdy shelving, as described, however box it came in was very flimsy for the heavy package and ends of the shelving posts were sticking through the cardboard on arrival. Posts were not damaged, but some corners of the pressboard shelves were chipped. I think the shelves will work out, but would have returned them as damaged if the price had been higher. Too heavy for the Fed-Ex driver to handle on his own. Luckily my husband was available to unload the boxes and they were not damaged further.
