These are really sturdy shelves. Great for my garage storage, which is why I bought them. I only have two comments that could be considered "negative"? First, I expected metal shelving versus pressed wood. Secondly, installation instructions lack in full directions. You will need more than one person to install this shelving. Other than those 2 comments, the shelves are quite sturdy and fit the job that we needed. I just expected a better quality of "shelves" in lieu of cheap pressboard.

Product description doesn't show that the uprights are 2 pieces 36" high, held together by the center shelf. This makes assembly difficult. The particle board decking is only 3/8" thick which leaves a metal lip recess when installed. It should be 1/2". You won't find this product on the EDSAL website.

Giving this 2 stars only because the description indicates the couplers aren't included. However, what they don't tell you is that the couplers are extremely hard to find separately, not sold in local hardware stores, and are $40 for the set of 4 couplers to finish assembly... again if you can find them in stock.

I am pleased with the shelves, however, the corners of all 5 pieces of particle board in one set were broken off. I have a photo of this. I don't know if they were broken on delivery or prior to that as I was not home when they were delivered. The shelves are fairly easy to assemble and hold lots of stuff.

The box was left on my front porch. I would not have accepted it. It was busted at both ends with metal parts sticking out. The box was badly damaged all over. I asked my husband to open in and look at it and two of the shelves were broken in half He boxed it back up and we took it back for a refund. I should have believed the reviews I saw.

This was an excellent buy at $64! The unit is large and needs to be secured to a wall or other structure for safety. I used Plumbers Strap and a few 2-1/2" screws. I liked this so much after assembly that I bought a second unit of the same model number.

DO NOT PURCHASE THESE SHELVES!!! The reason they are so cheap is they cannot be put together properly because they do not come with the CPOUT couplers! I had to spend another $100 getting the extra pieces I needed to assemble the shelves so they looked like the picture(I bought 3 shelving units). This is the reason they are so much cheaper at Walmart! Just buy them at Lowe's and save yourself from this headache!

Is a very good start to shelves. They seem really well made, but I found the instructions lacking. Adding the second tier post is difficult, not intuitive, and not well explained. I had to find a video online to show me how to do it. At the end, I bought 14 of them. One other thing, one of the boxes was shipped short four Corner posts. I sent Edsal an email then they arrived in a couple of days no questions asked.

It's exactly what I was looking for.

Very easy to assemble and sturdy. Took about 20 minutes.
