The legs come in two sections, the bottom three shelves is one section and the top two shelves is a different set of legs that sit on top of the other four. There is nothing to secure your legs with your bottom legs. We wired the top and bottom legs for security.

We bought this shelf a few weeks ago, and while it seems to be doing the job, it's definitely not as great as we had hoped. The wood is pressed board (which can warp in humidity), and the part where the top and bottom side supports fit together is only held together by one peg, and it doesn't line up as well as it should. Still, for a cheap shelf, it seems to do the job and is holding plenty of weight for us in the storage.

I was very impressed by the shear strength of this shelving unit unlike the flimsier shelving that I had bought in the past. The weight of the shelf itself (104 lbs) should tip you off! I was concerned about delivery damage as noted by other commentators and as might be expected, one of four units was returned due to a damaged condition. A replacement unit was expedited to me immediately and I received it in a matter of just several days. Even though all the boxes were a bit chewed up, there was no problem with the indestructible metal parts or the more delicate particle board liners. At $49.99 with a $10 gift card and shipping for just $2.99, I'd buy these again in an instant.

Bought to allow better use of storage space, including the ability to stack boxes higher, while still allowing ready access to contents. So far, so good. Easy to install, with only tool needed a hammer or rubber mallet. Seem quite sturdy. Only challenge in putting together was getting the connection of the lower unit to the upper unit right, but I got the hang of it. After my initial purchase, I did a re-order.

Once I put it together it is a large heavy strong unit. I was surprised that the shelves were pressed wood, but they are very solid. The only problem is in the assembly and the directions. The corner post are two pieces stacked one on top of the other connected by a side and an end rail. When installing them they will not stand until you have all of them connected and the next shelf solidifies the unit. The directions say nothing about this. I thought I was assembling it wrong and wasted a lot of time and energy trying to do it correctly. The pictures aren't very good.

I received an email from Walmart telling me that this item shipped on 6/13/14. When I checked on it's status on 6/16/14 I was told that it would most definitely ship on the 13th. Time travel? The product was received with the corners broken on 3 of the shelves. I'd have lodged a complaint but was quite fed up with waiting for it so we repaired them ourselves. Had it been on time and undamaged I would have rated it higher.

this product was easy for me to install by myself. i am a senior. it came when it was suppose to and the delivery person was very plesant and placed it where i asked. the shelving will hold up to what i need to put on it without buckleing or sagging. very strong.

I bought two of these shelves to hold my couponing stockpile and to help organize my garage. They do the job, but I wouldn't recommend putting anything too heavy on the shelves since they are made of particle wood. After reading some reviews, I decided to have my order shipped to the store to avoid package damage. Only damage was a small piece of particle wood that was broken, but it was small enough to glue and not return. One shelf was easy to put together, the other was a pain. I recommend putting everything in place and hammering last. Overall, not bad for the price and does the job.

When the boxes the rack came in the boxes were a little tattered, however, all of the pieces were intact. The racks when together easily, requiring only an occasional tap with a hammer. We are using the racks for general household items. Those who may want to use them for heavier items should plan on using ( purchasing ) a sturdier wood shelving.

Overall, okay. Not great but not horrible. Particle board shelves are a little thin. We will see if they actually hold the weight advertised. The joints are connected by inserting part of the shelf into each joint. Seems like that makes it less stable but we will see. These were on sale when purchased. For the price they are fine but I would of returned them had I paid full price.
