Bought 2 of these units for my basement and they are very sturdy. They are large with a ton of storage space. Not too difficult to assemble but they are heavy, so I would recommend assembling them near where they will be located. I am impressed with the quality and would definitely recommend!

Seems to be strong, sturdy unit. Woulda gave it 5 stars if it came with rubber floor guards, for the leg braces that touch the floor, but there was none in my box. You will scratch your floor/surface if not careful when moving the unit. Other than that no complaints, went together easy and holds a lot of stuff.

Thought was great until I got ready to add the second post to the first. No couplers. Went back and read fine print couplers not included. I would have paid a little extra to have them included. Now I have to stop what I'm doing and go to a store to find something to connect the post with.

These shelves are awesome. They are sturdy and easy to put together. The only thing you need to know is that you have to ask for the connectors for the shelves that are 48 inches deep. This is a good shelving system. It is a copy of an excellent set of shelves that I was trying to match. It is adequate and better than most shelves out there. You get what you pay for - this price ($55) is very good - but if you want the best, spend an extra $10-15 and get one with a little better quality and a little better engineered materials.

The rack came without the parts to connect the bars to make it 5 rows high. I contacted the company and they said the part would arrive in 3-5 days (a week+ later and it still hasn't arrived). My husband bought bolts and made it work. The shelves are made of particle board and bow when you put weight on them. We will have to buy plywood to make it work properly. Similar shelves got for much higher prices, so I guess it was worth it, but don't exect high quality.

Advertised as being able to hold up to 4000 or 800 pounds per shelf ... just make sure you distribute the weight evenly. This would lead a consumer to believe the shelves are sturdy, which they are not. There needs to be a cross-brace to reduce the likelihood of collapse. The posts/legs have sharp corners on them: if you're putting them on anything less than a concrete floor (i.e. carpet, hardwood, tile), you need to put something under them to protect your finish. Not all the shelves are adjustable: you have to put one on the bottom, and you have to put one in the middle; the ones in between can be a different heights. The shelves look good (not tacky like homemade, stick-built shelves). They have lots of storage room. And they're a breeze to assemble.

Love these heavy duty shelves. I have purchased 5 so far. Gave 3 to my daughter to help organize their basement and two for my husband for his new storage shed. They are heavy to lift but you can open the box and move the pieces a few at a time. Only need a hammer to assemble,( to secure the frame). The shelves are deep and can hold boxes and storage tubs and can be assembled vertically or horizontally. Heavy gage steel and particle board shelves. I feel they are a great price and value. Would not hesitate to order more. I could only order on line but that's OK, free delivery on my order.

Decent product for the price of around $70. Muscle is a little misleading, yes it can hold weight on each shelf, but it must be evenly distributed. The shelf itself is okay, and it should last years. When connecting the second half as you are building up, it's best to have a second person help you. The actual horizontal bars are what locks in the upper part. Instructions could've been better written, so I had to disassemble a bit, as of course I was doing it wrong. I would buy again for the price of $70 delivered, I actually bought 2. Taking a star away for poor institutions and the name muscle. This is not equivalent to a gorilla rack or a $150 rack. However, it is priced right at $70.

These mid-weight shelves were exactly what I needed for storage of holiday decorations. They were relatively easy to assemble (a second set of hands would make assembly smoother). If you need heavyweight shelves, these are not for you, but I am very happy with them
