This is an awesome shelving unit especially for the price. I only paid $59 each and the shipping was free. I put the first one together in about 20 minutes and the second in maybe 10. I am planning to buy at least one more. The shelves are two feet wide and hold a ton of stuff and look great. The only glitch was that both boxes were missing a total of 8 couplers which is needed to attach the posts so I called customer service and they are shipping the items. I couldn't wait a week for delivery so I attached the posts with bolts and it worked fine. I definitely recommend these shelves through Walmart.com and these same exact shelves are also available at Home Depot but they cost $20 more!

First off these shelves are awesome!! With that said we ordered and sent back 2 boxes that arrived damaged with broken pieces inside. We have 3 of them now but we only order them to be shipped to our local Walmart now and we haven't had a problem since. Do your self a favor from the beginning and just ship to your local store. They really are fantastic shelves at a great price!

Ordered the shelves online. got to the store to pickup and realized they probably weren't as heavy duty as advertised by the size and weight of the cartons they were packaged in. Put one shelf together that night by myself, but would suggest an extra set of hands to help hold the rails putting the pieces together. The unit wasn't as heavy as I thought it should be from the description when I ordered it, but once everything is connected and the MDF boards are put in, is sufficient for most garage storage items. Wouldn't use it to store an engine block or even cylinder heads, but for crates or heavier items, as long as the weight is distributed out over most of the shelf, should be just fine. I got two units for right around $120 and for that price was a decent value considering same sized commercial quality shelving would have cost twice that.

The rack is great, pretty good quality for this price. I got this for around 60ish dollars in thanksgiving(discounted price). The only concern for everyone is the installation. Just youtube this product name and you will find someone showing you how to do it in 5 minutes. So forget about the manual and go straight to the YouTube video. It will save you a lot of time!

While I'd like to review the shelves, ours came damaged. With 1 end of the box completely open So we are trying to track down how to get the parts. The edges of the shelves themselves are a bit chewed from the damage but I think that will be ok. IF we can get the parts to put it together lol. I can say the shelves aren't finished, just plain ole particle board but seem stout. We have a similar unit that seems to be holding up well. Does the job and at a reasonable price but it's nothing fancy.

I bought two units online for my garage. They were delivered within a week. The shelving was very easy to put together. I did it myself in less than an hour but it would have been easier with another person holding the top posts. I had to prop them. Two of the particle board shelves were cracked in one of the units. Edsal Mfg was contacted as instructed in the directions, instead of returning the shelving to Walmart. There was absolutely no problem with customer service and they shipped out two replacement shelves. I am very happy with this product and the service provided by the manufacturer. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

What a piece of cheap junk. Needed this to keep stuff off the floor in my basement. Directions are useless. Putting this together was rediculous. Watched you tube. Not much help. Everyone had same problems. There are no bolts to hold this together. It "snaps " together with little metal nobs. Totally unstable. The thin boards that are "shelves" are not gping to hold up. I can't believe I actually paid for this piece of garbage. Would have returned it. I'm a senior. Couldn't get it back up the basement stairs. DO NOT waste your money!. I am outraged.

From my experience Edsal shelves are better. It was very difficult to set up as a 4 or 5 shelving unit because of the overlapping of the bars. Also all the wood did not fit in the shelving u it the same, some sat on top of the shelf and some fit inside shelving bracket. Additionally you have to buy corner protectors if you dont want to scratch the surface flooring whereas Edsal provides it for you. Overall it was okay for the price.

I love my new shelf which was delivered with no damage, I was a little concerned about damage after reading previous comments from other buyers. So glad mine was not. The shelf is very sturdy and nice size. I plan on getting another when able and yes I would recommend this shelf to people I know.

We ordered 6 shelving units at once (getting ready to order 2 more to complete the job) to clean up and organize our basement. These units are easy to build and are very sturdy. Yes, the box design makes it difficult (they're akward and heavy) and yes, the boxes showed some damage (all pieces were fine) and YES they are the biggest bang for your buck out there! We couldn't be happier with this purchase or the fact that our basement is completely cleaned and organized!
