Does the trick to organize my camping equipment. I have sleeping bags, tents, coolers, and other lightweight gear stored on these shelves. It would probably be good for seasonal decoration storage also. It has a lot of storage space for the price. I got these on sale. I would not think the quality to value would have been good had I paid full price. The cardboard had a strong odor out of the box, but has since dissipated. Also, the cardboard and the metal is not as sturdy as other metal shelving I have used. I was a worried that the cardboard would not hold my equipment and would snap as I was trying to lay them in the framing, but it looks like it will be alright. I am only going to store lighter weight equipment on these shelves. For heavier items, such as tools, I am going to purchase something sturdier.

I bought this rack for primary purpose of storing 3D printer filament spools. Each spool is 2.4 pounds (1Kg filament and packaging). Although I keep them to the edges as that's the strongest area (presumably) and have loaded from the bottom up, by the time I put things on the 4th shelf, it's so bowed in the middle that I'm concerned for safety. I have 34 spools on that shelf, which is a maximum of 81 pounds considering that some of the spools have been partially used. The tilt towards the middle is quite apparent. The bottom 3 shelves each have 40 spools, again all around the edges. That's less than 100 pounds per shelf and all are bowing to some degree. The rails do not seem to be the problem, although there is a tiny bit of bow and twist to each in the middle of the long sides. The MDF shelving in this size just cannot provide enough strength to hold the supposed rated weight.

The shelving system is great and fits the plastic bins I purchased perfectly. The only problem is that it wasn't particularly easy to put together. Every time I got one side installed the other side would pop out. It was a lot easier the second time once I got the hang of it.

This is a good shelf; however the assembly between the top half of the vertical bracket and bottom half of the vertical bracket was difficult. We put it together with two people but we really needed a third set of hands for that middle part. Also, I wish it came with the hardware to secure it to the wall. AFTER Assembly is very nice and sturdy.

The shelving is easy to assemble once you have all of the necessary parts. It is shipped without couplers (that are not on the packing list but are referred to in the assembly instructions) and when you call the manufacturer they know about this but still ship the shelving this way.

This is the third unit I've bought and love them. They are very sturdy and totally worth the price. I'm a retired woman but had no problem putting them together, especially since no tools are required. Wish I had more room in our garage for another one!

I love it! multiple ways to set up, Very easy to assemble, i do recommend making an L shape with the materials, it makes it easier to assemble if assembling by yourself. Extremely sturdy, The shelves are both long and wide, so you can fit lots of items on it.

I hate and don't write reviews, but I will for this product. So great completely organized my life and my garage, and my laundry room. I order 1 and it worked so great so I ordered 3 more. Now I am getting ready to order another 2 more. I think that I will put them in my guest bedroom and order another 3 more. The price is right and they hold so much stuff. They are not for books, but they are for "stuff" and we all have so much "stuff" Boxes, chairs, folded things, paintings (laid flat) etc. Loved them!

These shelves are nearly perfect. They are the right size and right price for our storage room and i am very happy with the purchase. The assembly was not hard once you've read some reviews here, and the "couplers" that everyone is mentioning are NOT needed. We bought 4 units and all but one went together in 20 minutes or less. A rubber mallet is all you need. The 4th unit had darker wood panels that did not fit in perfectly and needed coaxing, but otherwise assembled fine. Nothing was damaged or in bad shape upon arrival and they arrived within 2 days of ordering. Boxes are heavy but packed well. It is a bit annoying you HAVE to have a shelf in the middle to act as the brace for the top half, but once it was built it is very sturdy and will serve us well for many years.

The structure of the shelf unit is very good. Strong and easy to assemble. But the packaging is very poor. There is no protection for the product and as a result all the particle board shelves had damaged corners. I plan to use it in my garage and will probably be replacing them with plywood so I didn't return it.
