Nice Item for the Price

I like this a lot, read some of the negative reviews, but really have no issues. The box arrived in good shape, all pieces there and nothing damaged. Put together by myself in about an hour, had my wife help me once to hold when connected bottom and top sections. The shelf wood is not the greatest quality, but should be more than enough for what is needed. Plus cost is excellent.

Great value ***IF*** they survive delivery

"FREE SHIPPING? Are you kidding me?" That's what I said when I saw the offer AND the great online price. I immediately ordered 4 as I previously already had 2 that had been purchased at my local WalMart. I knew how heavy they were so this was a no-brainer. FedEx left them OUTSIDE my garage as it was snowing. Good thing I received an e-mail notice when they were left otherwise they would have probably been out there all day and most likely been ruined. One box was partially compromised but the contents were in tip-top condition and the other three boxes had no damage at all. None of the shelves had any damage either (not even to the corners). Needless to say I love these, they are terrific and will hold a bunch of stuff. Super easy to assemble once you get rolling. I think I did the 4th one in about 15-20 minutes (seriously). As the title says - ***IF*** they survive delivery!!!!!!! Too bad you can't buy JUST the frames :)

Very Disappointed

I thought this seemed like too good of a deal and as I am in desperate need of shelving in my garage I jumped on it. I am sorely regretting that decision right now. The shelves are cheap particle board that is about 1/4 inch thick. Though I'm sure they'll hold up for a short while, I fully expect that within a year the shelves will have to be replaced if they draw any moisture. My biggest complaint is that some of the "included" hardware is missing all together. I'm talking about the couplers that are supposed to be used to stack the posts' together. Mine apparently didn't include these pieces so now I'm stuck waiting for the manufacturer to provide them, if they will at all. Another complaint is that if for some reason you wanted to construct the shelves as a side by side you would be left short on the plastic feet that are provided. They only provide 4 of the feet which is pointless if you wanted to build it this way. There's also the issue of if you wanted to do side by side, you would have no way to join the two sides together for sturdiness. Next time I'll trust my instincts and just build my own shelves.

WEAK Rack

It's called "Muscle Rack" and it looks like other racks that are identical that I purchased at Home Depot. The picture is the same, and the name both are misleading. These racks are NOT folded metal, only one ply. They are quite weak. The wood is the thinnest possible particle board and came broken at every end (powdered). I put them together hoping that they would be fine but the metal bowed out (only 1 ply and not strong) and the thin particle wood shelving bent down under very little weight. Picture the metal bowing out and the wood bowing down. I have no idea how to begin to return these items so I feel like I am stuck with them. They are only staying up because of the items placed on the racks bottom to top help support the rack above it. They are almost useless and will have to be replaced with the higher quality stuff. These are great if you intend to stack nothing but feathers or empty boxes on them. We are stuck with $200 worth of thin, weak shelving. Look for the same thing with folded metal and thick wood or hard plastic insert shelving.

Do not buy this

These shelves are absolute trash. Can't support any weight, the low-quality particle shelf slips under the frame right away. Such bad design. Seriously one of the worst purchases ever. Now i have to figure out how to return this mess during the quarantine. Not getting much support. Stay away.

Inexpensive but not great quality

This is totally a get-what-you-pay-for item. On sale it's less than $60, which is far less than what other units cost. However, it's difficult to put together where the vertical side bars on the top half connect to the vertical side bars on the bottom half, and the quality is not great. The particle board shelves always arrive with chunks missing on the corners, and the shelves start to bow very quickly even without a lot of weight.

ok

Overall, the unit is fine, but a couple corners were cut to keep the price low which now that I know, I will be willing to pay a little more in the future to get a more secured frame and better quality shelves. the most difficult part was connecting the upper corner bars with the lower. Definitely easier if you have two people doing this part, but I did this myself which made it far more difficult to assemble than a similar unit I assembled from another manufacturer which had connectors to secure the top and bottom sections.

Very Good Shelving

Easy to put together. Very Good shelf for this particular need. You will have to consider purchasing new wood shelving as the shelves that come with it will not withstand heavy loads for long periods of time. Also do not get the shelving wet. All in all, though; a great product.
