Horrible they sink in!!

I purchased 6 of these 5 shelve units. although each stipulate several thousand pounds i used these in my spare bedroom for my pantry and toiletries. The heaviest thing being the small bags of tide pods which i put on the bottom shelves... within just a few months (and no nothing got any of them wet or damp) 11 shelves have bowed in making it impossible to even have items stand up.. I have sent several emails to the manufacturer to get a replacement of the shelves or to return the 3 units and not one response! I even sent pictures and videos

Don't waste your time and money on this.

Bought this rack in September for my garage and put some cleaning products, the shelf sagged about an inch in the middle as in the picture. I would not recommend it, don't waste your time and money on this. The manufacturer needs to put some supports in the middle of shelves in order to make this rack work.

Heavy Duty And Super Sturdy

I put this shelving in the kitchen, it holds all my countertop appliances from the microwave to the deep fryer, the ice maker and blender, the oven rotisserie and the roaster... Now I have room on my counters for prep work and making pies... I just love it...

very cheap craftsmanship

I got this to store my big gas cans and other heavy items as it states each shelf can support 800lbs. I got it and saw the particle board and was skeptical, but I gave it a try. The particle board busted at around 150-180lbs. If they had a nice plywood, I could see it holding around that. But as is comes, it will not hold the 800lbs.

Best Bang for Your Buck

This is a great free standing shelf. Would recommend two people to put together, but totally doable solo. Still trying to figure out how to secure it to the wall. I chose in-store pick up due to all the stories of damaged packaging and missing parts. This way, I would be able to resolve on the spot if possible.

not all parts

The shelves appear to be sturdy. My box also came slightly damaged. But that is not the problem. The legs are not 6 ft long but 2 3ft ones. The 'coupler' (that is not listed on the instruction sheet) was not in my box. So I have 2 - 3ft shelves until I can get some bolts to attach legs on top.

I would call it muscle racks lol

I love the rack but I do have a problem with the low budget boards! I wouldn't call them muscle at all. They seem to be holding for now but I give them about two months before they warp and my stuff falls right off. Although the metal seems flimsy when I put it together it seems very strong to me. I wouldn't say I put 4000 pounds but I can say I put at least 200 and seems to be holding strong besides the cheap boards. All in all I'm happy with the product! Would I buy it again or recommend it to someone? I can say I would!

Wood shelves bend

I have two layers of canned food on each shelve. As soon as I put the items on the shelves they started to bow or bend down in the center. The descriptions says it holds up to four thousand lbs if distributed evenly. but I have nowhere near that amount of weight on the shelves. I will have to purchase a better quality of wood, cut it and replace the wood that came with this unit.

Together now and are fine shelves

delayed shipment. ordered 3. set time aside to assemble. opened them all and started. none had the 4 post connector/joiners in the box ( also not listed int the parts list). Called the number on the directions and they shipped them in 3 days. good shelves, good service. i just think they knew they shipped without all the pieces.

Misleading Advertising

If you want to assemble the shelves as a 6ft high shelving unit as advertised on the website. You have to purchase couplers separately. They do tell you that the couplers are not included but they fail to tell you that you have to have them in order to assemble the shelves.
