Applewood sweetness.

I loved the applewood flavor. I tried it on chicken and it was a hit in my household. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is I thought there would be a little more heat to it since it had the chipotle in it but the brown sugar sweetness really made a big difference in the taste of the chicken. I will be trying it on other meat.

Smells good, tastes good

Good flavor but i think more than just a sprinkle is needed. I marinaded chicken and the flavor was good but a little weak. If I would of added more seasoning the flavor would of packed a punch. Not one ingredient was overwhelming, but was still able to detect hints of each.

Sweet Smokey lite heat

This sweet Smokey Savory seasoning mix is great for bbq pork chops or chicken. With the sun coming out firing up the grill is in order. The seasoning smells smokey and offers a sweet heat taste. This is not a salty seasoning but a mixture of spices to give a full body of flavors

A Smoky-Sweet Winner!

I recently tried Member's Mark Sweet Applewood Seasoning, and I'm absolutely hooked! This blend has quickly become a staple in my kitchen. The "sweet" in the name isn't overpowering; it's a subtle, warm sweetness that perfectly complements the smoky applewood flavor. It adds a delightful depth to everything I've used it on, from pork chops and chicken to even roasted vegetables. The balance of flavors is spot-on, and it's not overly salty, which is a common issue with many pre-made seasonings. What I particularly appreciate is its versatility. It's fantastic for grilling, smoking, or even just pan-frying. It imparts a beautiful, slightly caramelized crust to meats, and the aroma while cooking is simply irresistible. The large container is also a huge plus, offering great value for the price. I find myself reaching for it constantly, and it's become my go-to seasoning for adding a touch of smoky sweetness to any dish. If you're looking for a flavorful, versatile seasoning that will elevate your cooking, I highly recommend giving Member's Mark Sweet Applewood Seasoning a try. You won't be disappointed!

Solid grilling option

It’s a little sweet but still a good bbq rub option to put in the rotation. The bottle has a holes for using it as a shaker so you can sprinkle it on the grill on wings or anything else. If you combine with a little salt it could be better but everyone has different tastes. Overall, it’s a good option to have on hand.

Sweet Heat?

So I got this Members Mark Sweet Applewood seasoning the other day. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. It says "sweet" in the name but I could barely taste the sweet. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It had a nice smokey flavor with a touch of heat. I don't like things really spicy so this was the perfect amount of heat. Even though it wasn't sweet or hot it had a ton of great flavor. It will become a regular staple of my kitchen pantry.

Good chipotle flavor

I have used this seasoning twice already. First on chicken beast fillets and then on drumsticks. I really like the flavor and is different from my usual seasonings. It tastes like chipotle mainly and depending on how overpowering you want it to be in your food you can add more or less. I love the flavor and the other ingredients in it. The only thing I would say makes it not perfect is the "natural flavors." We never know what that means or what they used in those natural flavors. Other than that it is good.

Fun dry rub

Very robust flavor profile and fresh ingredients. Worked great on both a mix in to add a little something extra to ground beef or deer for tacos or sloppy joes or just straight burgers. Great on chicken as a dry rub. Definitely recommend. Can't wait to try it on jerky.

New spice with a great flavor!

This seasoning is fantastic! I made some steaks on the grill tonight and used the Sweet Applewood on both sides and they came out so good! My husband loved it too! He asked what it was because it’s a new flavor that I hadn’t used before. I would describe the flavor profile as smoky and sweet with a very slight spice from the chipotle and red pepper flakes. We like spicy so it was barely noticeable to us but it did compliment the other flavors well. I think this would go well with chicken, pork chops or maybe salmon too! Can’t wait to use it again!

Sweet, Smokey and so so good for a chicken dish.

This spice blend is really delicious! I seasoned my boneless chicken thighs with the spice blend and a little Avacado oils, cooked it up on the blackstone and Yumm. Tasted like moist applewood’s smoked chicken but in just minutes vs hours of smoking. Used the diced up chicken on a Caesar salad and it was the perfect light dinner, would be a great option for a meal prep as well!
