I've been using the same set for 4 years now and have to say that they have outlasted all of my other containers. I have been hand washing these since I got them and have not had any issues with them cracking. These do not stain or smell funky (even after storing kimchi). They are leakproof but I do not intentionally hold them upside down for long periods of time.

And did I forget to mention that the sound of a snapped lid is a mental high as it reassures me that everything is literally snapped in place? This is a must have for everyone and I highly recommend it!

These are fantastic! They're clear design allows you to easily see what's inside, and the plastic is durable and completely BPA free. They have the most amazing seals I've ever seen on a storage container. They hold fast, even when the latches are up! I tested them many times, putting liquids inside & tipping them upside down. I even undid the latches and held the containers by the latches, and the lids never popped off. These are unbelievable, and totally 100% leak proof!!! I was hesitant to put them in theicrowave or dishwasher, as this often leads to the demise of storage containers. However, I did give it a go, and they held up perfectly on both ocasions. The latches on the lids double as vents, so they don't pop in the microwave and make a huge mess. Even more impressive, the plastic doesn't discolor when heated with foods inside! In the dishwasher, the seals stayed intact and didn't warp at all. This was the biggest concern for me, and these performed flawlessly. Aside from their durable construction, and versatility, these containers also work wonderfully in the freezer or pantry. They stack on top of each other, and help to maximize space. I have a small kitchen, and saving space is a must! I use them to store leftovers in the freezer, and dry goods in the pantry. They look nice, and effectively use the little bit of space that I have. I received a free sample of the Rubbermaid Brilliance storage containers, to test and review. These storage containers exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Rubbermaid Brilliance medium size containers. Is truly remarkable, it honestly works as stated. We tried it in the microwavery to heat up food with lid on and it worked great. Didn't warp or melt or stain like some containers do, on first use. My husband took it to work with soup and he tossed his bag around he said and the soup did not spill at all. After using it a few times. I threw out all my old containers and went on a Rubbermaid Brilliance shopping spree. I truly recommend this product for everyone.

Loved the sizes and all of its promises of the product. Especially, when it came to the stain resistance idea and the fact that they were disherwash safe, I got two sets. It’s been less than a year since the purchase and some of them started to warp at the bottom, and they are now slightly bent inwards. Not knowing what the exact cause was but it prompt me to stop using the dishwasher right away. However, I’ve noticed some cracking on a couple of them and still am not sure what the issue is. On another note, I stored roasted cauliflower in two of the containers and learned that turmeric will stain them. These are great for dry/pantry storage but probably not recommended for packing hot lunches.

It keeps dry goods, like flour or cookies, fresh even when you live someplace with high humidity. It's perfect for stacking in the pantry. I'll definitely be buying the taller containers for all my flours and sugars.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I decided to use this container for my homemade taco soup. This would be the last thing I would want leaking all over. The soup didn't leak one bit! All of the contents stayed put, which means no messes. The vents were super handy for reheating in the microwave as well. Also, I love that it is dishwasher safe and that it doesn't stain or hold on to odours. This is a great product!! I recommend this to everyone!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry - Pantry Starter Set This is a really nice set of plastic storage containers. This 7 Piece Set is called the Panty Starter set. It has a nice variety of sizes that will be handy to almost everyone. I like that they are made of BPA free plastic, keeping food safe is as important as keeping it fresh. Each lid has a rubber seal and two clasps, they click shut very tight. The lids feel very solid and well constructed and when closed seem like they will do a lot to keep foods fresh. Rubbermaid Brilliance promises that the lids offer a 100 % airtight seal. So far under limited tests, that seems to hold up. The rectangular shape makes for more efficient self storage, and they are stackable. The two largest ones are rectangles that are 12 cup size and 16 cup size, I was able to fit a 5lb flour sack in the larger one and a partially used four sack in the 12 cup. I slid the bag right in, but I could have poured the flour right in the container. There are two tall narrow ones for spaghetti noodle boxes or other tall skinny food times 6 cups and 8 cups respectfully. The smaller ones are good for any variety of pantry items. It is called a pantry set and with the rubber gasket lids they are well suited for long term storage, but these containers would be great for general food storage. They are dishwasher safe and stain proof as well. I have not traveled with food in them yet, but they seem like they would hold up well for traveling foods even soups or sauces. I would consider them for a cookout or even a car camping trip. All in all, I am happy with these containers and think I will get a lot of use of them. I would probably get more of these to keep making my kitchen work better.
