If you have a traditional style top washer, this detergent cleans so much better and lasts so much longer than any liquid detergent does. This is the detergent that I grew up using. I have no idea why people, including myself, started using liquid. So glad I tried the old detergent again.

Been using regular He liquid detergent for years and am frustrated by blue stains on lights lately... Tried diluting and less detergent to no avail.... What works for me is the good ol' fashioned powder!

I swapped to powder detergent a few years ago after getting frustrated with buildup, residue, and mildew smells the liquid detergent and detergent pods were leaving behind in my front loading washer. After noticing the washing machine cleaners are powdered cleaners, I was curious if powdered detergent would help. Well, they 100% do! And tide is definitely the best at getting our clothes clean and keeping their freshness and clean smell. Over the last couple of years I’ve tried other brands, however I can use way less detergent hmy clothes seem the freshest with the powder Tide Ultra with Oxy.

It’s been a while since I’ve used powder detergent, but the bath towels and sheets will be washed with powder from now on. Liquid builds up on the fabric.

I love this Tide detergent. It does a good job of getting normal dirty clothes clean as well as extra dirty and even troublesome stains clean. My washer manufacturer recommends detergent over liquid or pods to prevent nasty smelly build up inside the tub that people can't figure out where the smell is coming from. So, I went to this after finding that Consumer Reports recommended this as their top choice in powder detergents. It does not disappoint. It does a great job and leaves a fresh clean scent.

I recently switched from a front load washer to a top load washer. The liquid tide that I have used for years did not seem to get the clothes clean in the top load washer. I tried another brand of liquid with the same results. When I saw this powder detergent I took the time to read the reviews and found that other people were also having problems with the liquid detergents. They said this powder tide with oxi cleaned much better than liquids or pods. So I took a chance and purchased this big box. I found that the powder not only cleans better, it also rinses out better. My wash comes out clean and fresh smelling. I am sold!

I watched a laundry specialist on PBS and followed his advice on using powdered soap again. I think my whites are coming out much better.

I have switched to Tide powder from Tide Pods. I am thrilled with the results and am not getting a gunk build up in my washing machine.

I preferred the basic tide, but this is a good replacement since Sam's doesn't seem to carry the basic stuff in store any longer.

This product used to have 183 loads per box. But now it's 143. Presumably due to the "with ultra oxi" part that was added to the label. And the measuring scoop enlarged to use more product each time.
