I swapped to powder detergent a few years ago after getting frustrated with buildup, residue, and mildew smells the liquid detergent and detergent pods were leaving behind in my front loading washer. After noticing the washing machine cleaners are powdered cleaners, I was curious if powdered detergent would help. Well, they 100% do! And tide is definitely the best at getting our clothes clean and keeping their freshness and clean smell. Over the last couple of years I’ve tried other brands, however I can use way less detergent hmy clothes seem the freshest with the powder Tide Ultra with Oxy.

My stains come out and smells super clean! 143 Loads will last me over a year. Only wish these were maybe individually wrapped in 43 load sections.

It's been a while since I've used powder detergent, but the bath towels and sheets will be washed with powder from now on. Liquid builds up on the fabric.

If you have a traditional style top washer, this detergent cleans so much better and lasts so much longer than any liquid detergent does. This is the detergent that I grew up using. I have no idea why people, including myself, started using liquid. So glad I tried the old detergent again.

Great product and does an exceptional job on stains (soaking ahead of washing helps)!

The Tide powder is superior for cleaning cloths. I dislike the pods as they stick to some cloths and stain them.

Have used this for many years love it don't want to change but am having trouble finding the powder which is what I like to use

Been using regular He liquid detergent for years and am frustrated by blue stains on lights lately... Tried diluting and less detergent to no avail.... What works for me is the good ol' fashioned powder!

I preferred the basic tide, but this is a good replacement since Sam's doesn't seem to carry the basic stuff in store any longer.

What is up with this tide powder? This detergent cleans poorly and clothes come out with rough feeling, not soft (especially with cotton items) and the smell of the freshly laundered cloths was extremely faint - not what should be expected and more like week old laundry hanging in the closet; which is to say a smell and scent that does NOT convey freshly washed clothing. Regular Tide and three other Name Brands live in my laundry room and are used on similar wash loads and produce far better results than this version of Tide Ultra OXI. I do NOT recommend this version of Tide and recommend that Sam's Club stop selling it as it is such a poor performing detergent. Choose any other detergent, you will be happy you did.
