I like that you can unlock it with your phone,(apple), or with a physical key. It alerts you when the door has been unlocked. I would recommend this product. Great quality and easy install.

I have not had any issues with battery life yet it says a 14 month battery life and I’ve had it installed for about 2 weeks so I can’t say too much on battery life. The app is easy to use very simple straight forward. Comes with everything you need for quick easy installation. It auto locks if you forget.

Installation was simple, with clear instructions making the process hassle-free. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to a year before needing a recharge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old traditional front door lock was getting hard to turn, and we like to go out and walk without taking our keys, so this Eufy Smart Lock was an easy decision. I love that we can get in with just a fingerprint or a code; the fingerprint scan is super helpful for when our hands are full! The app was really easy to use and integrates with other Eufy products. Our security cameras and doorbell are another brand, but I would definitely consider a switch to Eufy so everything communicates with each other. You can set a different passcode for everyone in your family, and the app also has an option to set a one-time passcode for any visitors. This was all super easy to do in the app, and it will alert you on your phone when the door is unlocked and by whom. We’re not natural DIYers and have never changed a front door lock, so this was a new adventure. Instructions were generally easy to follow (again, in the app) but as someone new to this part of home improvement, I had no idea how to get our old locks off. The instructions start assuming your old lock is already off, so I had to Google that (but it was really easy to unscrew). I was mostly able to install this device without help from my husband until we got to the calibration phase. The deadbolt has to fit very smoothly into the doorframe/the strike plate and ours fit…but just barely. This resulted in the calibration failing repeatedly. We had to modify the doorframe a bit to get the deadbolt to go in smoothly (we sanded it out with a Dremel) and once it did, everything worked smoothly. One more thing to note - the instructions state everything can be installed with a screwdriver and that no drill is required. I started with a screwdriver but found using a drill to be WAY easier. Super happy with this Eufy device and will definitely consider adding more items to our home network!
