This is the first food processor I've ever owned. I purposely bought the smaller model because it cost less than the larger and I didn't want to make such an investment in something I wasn't sure about. All I can say is, I will certainly be upgrading in the future! While this doesn't process huge amounts of food, it is a powerhouse. I mostly use it to chop onions and peppers. I like their taste yet don't want to see big chunks of them in my cooking. I never thought I'd find anything that would rival my own (neurotic) chopping requirements but this has saved me hours at the cutting board.

Great food processor for the size and the money. I purchased this processor to make a puree recipe that my blender and magic bullet couldn't handle. I am so pleased with the ease of use, the results from my recipe and also the ease of cleanup. I did not need to purchase a larger version so I'm happy that one like this is available. Thank you.

I needed a few essential cooking & prep items while displaced from home due to flood damage. I ordered this Mini-Prep Plus to help me along the way and found it to be quite helpful and will find it to also be useful once I get back into my own kitchen. It's easy to use & store, just what I was looking for at this moment. I was able to have multiple uses with this once machine. Needed to grate cheese, chop pecans, chop herbs, etc.

For a single person chopping onions, cabbage and carrots this is great. Simple to use. Only two options : chop or grind. Big thing for me it does not take up much more counter space then my large geee stein type coffee cup. I also use it to grind coffee beans

Fingers crossed this one lasts longer than its more expensive siblings. After have the blade break on the more expensive version, twice, and knowing how much they cost to replace, I decided to try this more affordable version to see if it will last any longer (or at least the same)

I had an earlier model. Loved it but plastic on blade started getting cracks. Was 30 yrs old. So i got this new one. Definetly updated blade, runs and works great. I use it for chopping nuts, onions, beets, eggs etc. Handy convenient. Dont have to Dig out big processor. Highly recommend.

Thin flimsy plastic. It's bendable and seems like it will crack easily. Also, Terrible High pitch sound while grinding or chopping on pulse or continuous. Very disappointing for a cuisinart product. Cheaply constructed. The chopping and grinding is fairly consistent.

Amazing Kitchen Appliance which you can make anything from Hummus to salsa ….I love the size and power of this small processor and it gets the job done perfectly whether it’s chopping garlic or onions or prepping a mix of basil pine nuts and garlic for pesto this is a must have..

I used to have a food grinder as a part of my stand mixer. It stopped working after 40 years. In looking for a replacement I found choices expensive, too large and too heavy. When I found the Cuisinart I was delighted on its size and weight. It works quite well for grinding meat for ham loaf, grinding vegetables for various products, and is so easy to use. It is easy to clean an easy to store.

What a fabulous little food processor. Yes, it's small, so it won't process gallons of ingredients at a time. Small, but mighty! I was shocked at how powerful it is. If you have tons of storage space and would like to have both a small and a large food processor, this is a great choice. By contrast, if you've got a tiny kitchen and didn't think you have enough space for a food processor, this small but powerful model will be a pleasant surprise!
