I have a huge Cuisinart food processor (fp) that's over 40 years old. It is cumbersome, thus I was looking for something smaller, specifically to shred cheese. I saw this item and, after reading the instructions, gave it a whirl. In order to do so, I had to slice the cheese into smaller pieces, insert them into this processor, and pulse until it seemed to be to my liking. The fp worked well and came with a scooper to clean off most of what stuck to the sides. I wish that it had a cover or a container, I stored mine in a box for now.

I like eating at home with healthy meals, especially during the shutter in place. Simple, and convenient to use for chopping and grinding while preparing food, a must have for any kitchen. Mini-prep, where have you been all my life? I love this little machine! So easy to clean and as powerful as my huge food processor. The perfect graham cracker crust maker. You can do enough for one pie in one bowl. Chopping is a breeze and so easy to regulate. I will wear it out and happily buy another!!

This little machine is great for those jobs where you don't need your full size Cuisinart food processer. It's easy to pull out and use to make sauces, chop a small amount, etc. Super easy clean up too. Definitely recommend as a companion to your full size processer.

We ordered a new Cuisinart 3 cup food processor to replace our previous 12 year old one. The old motor ran flawlessly, however, the plastic piece that holds the food to be processed, broke on the lip, preventing it from locking in place. Since the old model is no longer available, a new one was required. I must admit, the original one was much sturdier and exudes more quality than its replacement. Hanging on to the old motor - for what reason, I’m not certain!!! JCEJr Supply, NC

This processor is the perfect size and does a great job of chopping and also pureeing. I have only had this less than a month and have already chopped pecans, pureed veggies, ground candy canes into a powder and it easily powered through all of this without any issue what so ever. It is also incredibly easy to clean. The only con to this machine is if you are looking for a quiet device, this is not it. It is quite loud but for the job it does and that I would never be using this late at night or early in the morning, it doesn't bother me in the least. It's performance out weighs its loudness. Just thought you might want to know that it is not very quiet.

I've had a Cuisinart mini-prep for the last 15 years; this one is a replacement. (The blade on the old one was starting to separate from the plastic housing, probably from constant use.) I do use it a lot and I can't imagine not having one in my kitchen. This product is a real work horse.

I’ve had a cuisinart chopper for years. I dropped the plastic bowl and broke it so decided to buy a whole new chopper. The new one is even better than the old one. The reverse feature is great. It’s easier to clean. AND it is so fast!! Great product!

I have the big version of this. Often, when I have a small amount of chopping, I don't get the big Cuisinart out due to the cleanup. The Mini-Prep is very easy to clean. I just hand wash it in a few seconds and it's ready to go back in the cabinet next to it's big sister.

Been cooking some dishes that required chopped spices and vegetables. I had to chop them with a knife. I mentioned this to my family and they bought this for me for Christmas. My mom had one and she really liked it so I'm pretty sure I'll like it too.
