EASY TO USE AND CLEAN

We replaced a similar processor with this CUISINART, after the old one became useless because of a plastic tab breaking, on the lid. The part would have cost as much as our new Mini-Prep (Tm) . With FIVE other CUISINART devices on our countertop the new unit joins the family that includes a 40+ year old processor.

Small but mighty kitchen helper!

My original mini-prep stopped working after many years of good use. I was satisfied with its performance so I decided to replace it with the newer model. It works just fine and is much more user friendly when attaching the lid to operate. Performance is the same as older model. As mentioned in some other reviews - it is lighter in weight than the older model. I did need to hold it in place while using - the reason for 4 stars. Other than that - I expect to get many years of service again. It’s always been a staple in my food prep. Although I looked at other manufacturers, I still came back to a brand I trusted.

Great little chopper

Well I finally used The mini processor today, and I really enjoyed this one for safety features that it has versus my old one that was the ultimate chopper. When using the mini processor today, I got to use the little spatula that came with it to wipe down the sides of the walls of the container. Surprisingly you don’t think about these things until you use them and see how much better they are than The older things that you have. wish they would’ve had this 10 years ago

Not dishwasher safe like it says it is

This works well to chop up smaller quantities of foods, however I was really disappointed that even though the website says that all parts are dishwasher safe, the bowl warped in the dishwasher after only about 3 washes and the lid will no longer fit onto it. I got a replacement and now will not be putting the bowl or lid in the dishwasher to avoid them warping again, but I really think the description online should be updated to indicate that not all parts are dishwasher safe.

Love my mini chopper

I absolutely love my mini chopper! It’s the perfect size for handling 1-2 cups of ingredients. One of the best things I’ve enjoyed about this mini chopper is its versatility. It chops nuts, shreds cooked chicken, and blends ingredients for fresh salsa in seconds. Cleanup is also a breeze. Most parts are dishwasher-safe, and the compact design makes storage simple If you’re looking for a small but efficient food processor for everyday kitchen tasks, I highly recommend it.

Too loud

I was very disappointed with this. It was so loud while running almost unbearable. It was very difficult to hold the button down while pouring oil in the drizzle hole to make mayonaise. I ended up purchasing a larger Cuisinart which I am happy with. No oil overspill and much quieter.

Space saving and Convenient to use

I received this as a gift and it's a gift I really like. It's small enough to fit on my counter but large enough to easily chop all that is needed. It chops onions perfectly for chicken salad, etc. I just really enjoy being able to have it at my disposal quickly as well as the quick and easy clean up. I find more and more ways to use it all the time.

does a respectable job

I bought this to replace one I owned previously in which the plastic holding the blade started to crack. Among small sized food processors this one does the best job. The only negative is how loud it is when it is working. My husband even suggested I wear ear protections when using it! Therefore, I can only give it 4 stars.

Perfect, easy to use, food processor

The Mini-prep is very simple and easy to use. You don’t have to keep switching all the parts like with a more expensive, more complicated model. I used it to chop zucchini and it worked perfectly. I recently purchased it so have not tried it yet on other foods.

Mighty Processor

This little powerhouse pulls it's weight for small jobs when the big one is just too much to wash. Admittedly this is my second purchase as the first one cracked where the blade attached to the assembly and I was concerned it would break while using and injure someone or wreck the food. Why 5 stars? It works like a champ and is easy to clean - worth a second chance.
