I chose this television because of reviews and price. The reviews were not incorrect. It's a great tv. Beautiful picture and excellent sound. The only issue I have with this Sanyo, I cannot get closed captioning to work. I called the 800 number which is right on the remote. The first person I spoke to, told me it was a problem with my cable company. My cable company told me they would reboot the box and it would work. (They were no help either.) Here's the real complaint - I called Sanyo back and explained the problem. The man I spoke to was the rudest "help" person I have ever encountered. I told him the cable box was used on two other tvs (I was moving tvs around) in the past week and the closed captioning worked perfectly. Didn't work at all on the Sanyo. He responded, "Okay, if you want to believe that." Like I'm a nitwit. So, support gets a zero. TV still gets a five because I believe the closed captioning is a Sanyo problem but it may be because of a conflict with my cable box. Shouldn't happen but don't want to dis the tv over it.

I have been pleased with Sanyo, so I bought this 39" Sanyo LED 1080p HDTV. The TV has a good price and the right size. The picture quality is fine and extra ports you can access fairly easy.

My 39" Sanyo LED 1080p HDTV has a great picture. I love the size. Great for kids to play xbox on. The quality and value are great. I love it, and would buy another one just like it, when I need it. Thank you so much for selling such a great TV.

We purchased this TV in the Club about a month ago, and couldn't be more pleased. We have, and would recommend it, to anyone looking for a TV with great features an great value.

This is a great tv for the price it is the best deal out there picture quality is a 5 star, you can't go wrong HDMI connectors work the best with directv.

We already have a smart TV in our Den and were looking for a nice sized TV for our home gym area and this one fit the bill...surprisingly we have it hooked up to our own outdoor roof antenna and get over 70 high definition channels with the great tuner...our gym is in the downstairs area of our home and quite a distance from our internet router but the instant wifi adapter from ROKU as suggested by this tv's fast set up had us on the internet and watching Netflix in moments with little buffering problems...A true winner all around..great HD viewing etc. and little expense what more can you ask for

Replacement for older model we had in our bedroom. Excellent picture, easy set-up and the wife loves it. That tells you everything you need to know.

I purchased the TV in September 2013, here we are in May 2014 and the TV won't come on. Power button does not work, Remote does not work. TV is broken. This TV is in a room that has not been used much in that time. So the TV probably has less than 144 hours of use. I called SANYO and they told me to provide my proof of purchase for the repair of the TV. I will be going to SAMS tomorrow and see if they can produce proof of purchase. It has a great picture when it does work. You can take a gamble, but be aware of this unit.
