Keter 170 Gal. Resin Deck Box Large Indoor/Outdoor Storage

Well engineered and easy to assemble. Pleased with product.

Filled a need

Box was easy to assemble and holds must of the yard tools I am storing.

Really high quality and easy to assemble.   Only negative is lack of wheels.

Very good for the price

Purchased in October. Noticed this week it leaked and had a pool of water inside. Obviously not a weather proof storage box.

This was a bit of a challenge to assemble as the directions are only pictures. Once done, however, I will say all alignments were perfect, the hinge is well made and the box seems well worth what we paid. I would buy again

Well worth the effort and cost

Nice looking, well-built for the price and easy to put together.

This my second Keter deck box. One word of caution, if you are using to store pool chemicals like Muriatic Acid, the vapors will cause the metal pieces to corrode very quickly.

Good value and nice-looking deck box.

I was actually very surprised how nice this deck box is. It was very easy to put together and with the shock absorber lid it stays closed and everyth8ng dry inside. I will be buying another one for our deck and pool

Great deck box for the price

I bought this in April 2025 and loved it for about 30 days. After that, it started to rust and is rusting more and more everyday. I don't think this will last a year or a year in a half in my pool enclosure in Florida. I recommend  that you do not buy in locations with a lot of rain or humidity.

Terrible Item

Deck box purchased to store bags of fertilizer and soil amendments for gardening. They had previously been stored near my side door because that kept them out of direct sunlight and rain. But definitely not a good look for anyone visiting. 

Assembly took 45 minutes. I used an impact driver for the almost 60 screws. I tried a regular screwdriver too, but found that it slipped out of the Phillips head too easily. The impact driver was both faster and adidn't strip the screw heads.

The screws tapped threads into plastic bosses molded into the box panels. The matching holes in the metal parts were oversize so you could position them directly over the plastic bosses. No fighting poorly toleranced screw holes--everything just fit perfectly.

You need two people at the end, when you fasten the hinges on the lid to the box. My assistant held the lid and I put three screws on each hinge in less than a minute per side. You may also want an assistant when moving the fully assembled box into its final location.
