Deck box purchased to store bags of fertilizer and soil amendments for gardening. They had previously been stored near my side door because that kept them out of direct sunlight and rain. But definitely not a good look for anyone visiting. Assembly took 45 minutes. I used an impact driver for the almost 60 screws. I tried a regular screwdriver too, but found that it slipped out of the Phillips head too easily. The impact driver was both faster and adidn't strip the screw heads. The screws tapped threads into plastic bosses molded into the box panels. The matching holes in the metal parts were oversize so you could position them directly over the plastic bosses. No fighting poorly toleranced screw holes--everything just fit perfectly. You need two people at the end, when you fasten the hinges on the lid to the box. My assistant held the lid and I put three screws on each hinge in less than a minute per side. You may also want an assistant when moving the fully assembled box into its final location.

I love this deck box. I am very happy with the quality of it and it is big enough that I can fit all my chair cushions and table umbrella inside it. What a great place to store them all winter and I dont have to bring them inside. I like the lock it has as well, even though I wont use it. The only drawback I can think of is that it wasn't real easy to put together. There are only pictures and I like wording as well to explain the steps.

It feels unsteady while building it but once finished it is very nice and relatively sturdy. Nice for outdoor storage. Does a good job of keeping contents dry.

Right size, sturdy deck box. Stored my patio furniture cushions and they fit perfect. It can be locked. Almost opted for the 230 gallon but the 170 does not take up too much room. Holds 175 lbs inside and says you can sit on top 350 lbs. Dog thought it was a new house for him. 🐾

Purchased this large deck box on sale. It is a bit lighter, thinner than expected but went together easily and is pretty sturdy. It is very spacious. I am using it to store outside yard decorations, flowerpots, metal yard stakes, etc and it works great. It had room left over so a delivery person that went above and beyond even put a large package in it when it was raining then took the pic so I knew where it was! It also doubles as a nice table when cooking outside or setting a plant on. Happy with purchase.

This is a long overdue purchase. What a great addition to our pool deck. Love that the lid is hinged and stays open by itself. Large and deep storage for all the outdoor pool necessities. Would definitely recommend.

This product was super easy to put together. It came with all of the necessary parts and hardware, only thing I used was a Phillips head screwdriver to put it together. Instructions were easy to follow, even included pictures! Once put together, I appreciated how sturdy it felt. I even sat on it and it held my weight (a 280lb adult). It’s very spacious and I’m happy to have a place for all of our kids stuff that isn’t in my garage!!

I love this deck box! I'm using this indoor/outdoor deck box to store items I want to keep on my deck, but would like to keep out of the weather. This box is nice and large! I just loaded it with charcoal, cushions, and potting supplies. They all fit and they'll all be kept dry. It's also really strong and durable. I'm getting a cushion for the top so when we sit on, it will be nice and comfortable.

This outdoor deck box is nicely sized and can fit multiple items. It also looks really nice once assembled. We’ve had rain and the inside stays dry. Unfortunately when putting together the holes weren’t machined perfectly and my husband had to drill new holes to put the box together. Minus that issue we really like this deck box.

Purchased our deck box on 5/21/25. I have been pretty amazed at how it has become a reliable place to store items from the weather. I have kept a roll of paper towels in the box, first because I forgot to remove them while working on the deck, then I realized the paper towels were a good test of how dry it is inside the box. We have had some fairly severe weather over the past year and that roll of paper towels looks about as good as the day they were put in the box last summer. My concern: a few months ago I noticed a small crack in the top right front edge of the lid. I first thought maybe something had dropped on the lid, but couldn't think of anything that would have dropped hard enough to damage it. Then recently I noticed another crack starting to develop. I realized these two areas were right above where screws attach the metal supports on the underside edge. You can actually feel a small "bump" where the screws are below the surface. Not sure how bad this i going to get, or if these cracks are going to develop at each screw location. This could be an entry point for rain.
