I hand washed and dried before my first use in soapy warm water. These knives are not to be thrown in the sink and soaked or placed in the dishwasher as this can cause rust. I do not have to use excessive pressure to sharpen knives, my natural motion does the trick when placing back into the self-sharpening knife block. The knives are not high carbon steel they are stainless steel. I have decided to use these with fruits and vegetables only. Thank You Influenster

I love that each slot on the wood storage block each have their own sharpener. The handle is smooth and easy to hold the knives, so when using, they will not slip.

All my antimicrobial self sharpening stainless steel knives have rust spots on them. Will the company either replace or refund the cost of the knives?
