Not Pulled but 1 big fatty & tough chunk

I bought this thinking it was pulled pork. It's not! It is one big fatty, tough, clump of meat. And by big, it was big enough for my family of 6 to eat as 1 meal but that's it. We were not impressed. I am a good cook and I would never buy this again personally. It was not the quick and easy meal I expected and it did not taste good. I will buy my own pork butt in the future. Because that's all this is—-a pork butt that you have to heat for close to an hour, then pull apart and add seasoning & bbq sauce to anyway.

What happened?

We used to LOVE this product and bought it every time we did our Sam's Club shopping. We have even used it in sliders for holiday parties. The one I opened tonight was not at all pulled pork; it was more like a hunk of ham. I had to trim off a lot of fat and cut it up with a fork and knife when normally I just use two forks to shred it. After cutting into small chunks it was still tough and chewy. Please go back to the original product!

Took a turn for the worse

We have bought this MULTIPLE times for my family. We absolutely LOVED it. However, the last 3 times we bought it, it was total junk. It used to be SO good, tender and fall apart good. I will not but this again. It is clumpy and full of connective tissue. Very tough and gross. Whatever changed, it is terrible! Don't waste your money.

Huge portion

I was pleased with the amount of meat in the container. The pork was tender and delicious. However, I am not sure I would consider this pulled pork as the pieces were really huge and not exactly pulled. I had to shred it myself once it came out of the oven, which kind of defeats the purpose of a convenience type of product like this is supposed to be. Overall though, I would purchase this again as my family enjoyed it quite well and I was able to get 2 meals for a family of 4 out of it.

Quick and oh so good

We received this product to test, and was pleasantly surprised. We've tried smoked meat like this before, but wow you can taste a major difference. These meats are smoked for a long time as it states on the packaging, but this time you can actually taste that smokeyness.

Delicious

I tried the Members Mark Seasoned pulled pork from Sam's Club and we absolutely love it. Great barbecue flavor, it's very moist and tender. Taste just like something that you'd get at a restaurant, only a lot cheaper. It's a 2 pound portion so we had plenty for two meals and even had leftovers.

Disappointing...

One time I didn't read reviews and should have I guess...but I was so excited about this find! I will say the pork had a pretty good smoky flavor...a little dry...however it had quite a bit of fat and gristle. Tough in places and very hard to "pull"...no forks necessary you need your hands!!! I would not buy this again.

Very disappointed

I have bought this before and it was good and my kids love it but this last time is was horrible I had to pick through it to get all the fat out and there was more fat than pork and it looked like scraps for the dog. I don't know if I'll purchase this again

Quick and Easy Meal Idea

We cooked up this pulled pork and had it alongside a hash brown casserole last week. It didn't really resemble pulled pork right out of the container. It looked more like pork loin, but was easily shredded up. It had a nice smoky flavor. That night we just paired the meat with some barbecue sauce which made for a very quick and easy dinner. We had enough of the meat leftover to use it again later in the week for pork carnitas. The meat was lean with very little fatty pieces.

Large portion

I bought this a few weeks ago for my family of 3, and I can say that this was PLENTY with a good amount leftover for future use. This pork was very easy to cook, I just threw it in the microwave while preparing the remaining supper. When it comes to the taste, I enjoyed it overall but will say there were a lot of fatty pieces throughout the meat. I am not sure I would necessarily call this pulled pork as it was in large chunks, but it is a decent family meal. Also, make sure you have sauce to add, as this does not come with any.
