The first time we purchased this pulled pork a while back, it was so good! tender pieces of smoky goodness that almost tasted like a less salty version of ham, just not as smoky. We loved it. So I bought it again the next week, but it was horrible. tough and chewy, full of tendons and gristle, and way too much fat. The WORST part though, was the flavor.. YUCK. It had a strong pigsty the barnyard like aftertaste/smell. Hardly any smoke either. Grossed my husband and I out.. and BBQ sauce didn't help. I stopped buying it, but then this last week we were craving some pulled pork, so I thought I would give it another try since the first time it was so yummy, I was hoping that second package of it was just a fluke and a bad batch.. Bit this one was even worse than the other one. OMG. Well, apparently the first GOOD batch was a fluke. I will not be wasting my money on this ever again.

I have bought this pork quite a bit and more recently the meat is not as tender and does not separate as well. Overall the flavor is good, but not the same quality meat as it has been.

This smoked pork is pretty tasty. It's very easy to heat & eat. Note you get more meat than you'd think by just looking at the package as it's not "pulled" (shredded) yet, and you add your own bbq sauce. It is really good.

The cake it's self was cute but what would be even better was if they did the extra that you pay for, use the right color, and write all that they're supposed to, oh and do the right flavor! Can't even get someone to answer the phone

I had high hopes for this pulled pork but it had a lot of fat. It was a weird presentation being a big brick of meat that I would need to break apart and shred. Flavor lacked until I added my own sauce. None of my three kids would eat it. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

We love this pork! Good quality meat, can be a little difficult to pull apart but with a little effort you have an easy pulled pork meal however you enjoy it. We also love that it doesn't come drenched in a bbq sauce. You can choose your own and add however much you like individually.

Great flavor and WW approved. We really enjoy this pork. It's so important to follow the instructions, do not heat up by taking out of the package. Slice a couple slits in the bag and microwave it. It comes out perfect every time. Stores well in fridge for left overs, just cook it all at once in the bag it comes with.

Great flavor but a lot of gristle and inedible chunks mixed in. To be honest, when I opened it, I was a little grossed out but after picking through and throwing out at least 1/2 a pound, we were able to make a dinner out of it. Lots of waste thought. Pretty disappointed.

Looking for a simple meal idea...nice tender pork. It comes in a big lump of meat lumped into a blob. You have to heat it up and tear it apart. YOU have to add sauce, it comes plain, ready for anything you wish on it/in it. It just didn't meet my expectations. And it was greasy and set off my GERD. On the plus side, the meat is rich and substantial.

Tasty and liked that I could add my own sauce. I had a few different BBQ sauces available for dinner this night and everyone enjoyed it. I actually cooked this in the crock pot while we were camping. I pulled it apart and then shredded further after it was cooked.
