My Best TV ever!

Caught it on sale. Beautiful clear image. So many built-in features(Smart play, AirPlay) and it feels like I'm in a movie house. Watching sports now feels like an event.Like that, I can actually use it as a huge computer monitor with Apple Airplay when showing software instructions. No more crowding around the desktop monitor. Very satisfied!

Great but...

The tv is usually great but periodically the smart cast main screen will not display the apps just a black screen but an hour or two later and it will work fine again. All of the apps on the remote still work it's just odd how sometimes the main screen will be black and other times works fine and this happened on my previous Visio tv of the same model but a larger size.

Love television. But..........see review

I would think for an item like this, you could enhance the remote and offer a larger version than I got. I would gladly pay a bit more for a remote that had decent buttons large enough for older eyes and arthritic hands. This tiny thing is ridiculous.

Great picture

I love love love my TV. I am a Visio loyal customer and I would not switch for nothing. The reason I gave this TV a 3 star is be the sound is terrible. When I put it over 20 it start cracking and I really don't like that. Not sure what I can do about it if anything, but that is the only downfall for me

Returned in time to get a refund

I purchased this TV so excited, from day one the TV froze, kept shutting off, took 30 minutes to come back, I was able to return it to where I purchased in time to get a refund and purchase another brand. Also couldn't download Sling TV at all. I was surprised that a App TV couldn't download some of the most common apps. Also I was unaware that my phone would have to be the remote although the TV came with a remote control I had to use my cellphone.

Hi NikkiNJ. While you can't download apps not on the TV already you can cast them or AirPlay them from your phone, tablet, or computer. This gives our customers access to thousands of different apps to watch the content they want to watch. The remote that came with the TV is a fully functioning remote and you can control every TV function except casting from the remote itself.

Trusted Brand

I've had Vizio TVs for years and it's a brand that I trust. I've never had issues with any of my TVs so I always stick with it. This one is as I expected. I love the clear picture and the ease of setup. I also love the options offered. I can just log into Netflix or any of the other offerings right at the main screen.

Good for the money

I bought it a few months back, and I can say it is pretty good for the price you pay which is pretty affordable. However, it is pretty good when it works. I would say the TV works correctly about 75% of the time. I have to reboot the TV quite frequently. I would recommend to a friend who is interested in not spending a lot of money and doesn't expect a lot of quality.

Great Television For The $

Ever since we started buying flat panel televisions, they've been Vizio brand. Mostly because they are a really good product for the price. Having said that, this is the first "Smart" TV we have purchased. And although the the picture quality is very nice, and offers 4k quality viewing, at 60hertz, it still doesn't look or feel as lifelike as my son's or father in-law's Samsung televisions. Meaning; Watching on one of theirs, feels like you're there in person while the things happening on screen are being shot. And they aren't even in 3D. Perhaps it has do with Motion Rate, or something else that I know nothing about. I just know it's not the same. Which was somewhat of a letdown. Also, it would be nice, if a "Smart" TV was capable of having access to a Playstore & having other apps loaded onto it. All in all, it's still a good product for the price.

A great TV for the price!

Having owned exclusively Vizio televisions for the last 5 years, I had high expectations for this TV and it's met every single one of them. The picture, sound, and functionality are all great. Very satisfied with this purchase and if I had to do it all over again, I'd buy this TV again in a heartbeat

I'm on my second Vizio TV, and not necessarily because I think it's a great TV. It has a really nice picture and a few other things I like, but here's a short list of problems I've had with it. Sometimes when watching local TV the picture shrinks up to the top half of the screen. The only way to fix it through a troubleshooting routine that ends with a factory reset. That means I have to reconfigure everything, including connection to WiFi and re-searching for local channels. Then there's no way to to tell the TV to shut down at a certain time each day. And don't get me started on the Parental controls; you seem to think that everyone is going to be happy with the limited options available. Finally, I know this isn't a very expensive TV but with all the cordless/Bluetooth headset available now I sure would like an internal Bluetooth receiver/transmitter.
