Satisfied, but it's not the best out there

Over the past year, this particular TV has experienced constant issues with lagging, subtitle issues, and the smart cast page not working. At times it just becomes frustrating with resetting and reconnecting power to try and fix the issues. At times the TV will freeze and this happened quite consistently. My wife and I are happy with the size and picture quality but we do feel that there are better TV's out there. When you are paying a lot of money for a huge 4KTV I would expect a bit more customization like with Roku apps on our other 4K tv but this one doesn't have it, just smartcast with way too much on the screen. I personally like a more simplistic presentation so that's just me but the issues have definitely made us put the tv right at 3 stars.

Great TV at a Great Price

Purchased in December 2019. Could not be happier with this excellent value. Does not have some of the features you'll find on more expensive TVs like full array local dimming. It has "only" 3 HDMI ports and small speakers. But it has an excellent, crisp picture, is capable of 4k HDR and a great viewing angle and has a full set of smart TV features. I think most people will find this TV looks great and works well.

Great color!

I am so happy I purchased my Vizio Smart TV. I was looking for one that was 70" and this was a perfect fit for my viewing space. Very slim as well and it could also be mounted if thats what you want. I compared the color with other TV's and I liked this one best. I never hear of Vizio until now since my TV was very old but someone recommended it to me and I am very glad they did. I am sure I made the correct choice!

Good but not great

I was gifted this in April of 2020 and I loved this tv all the way up untill today, it started giving me problems two days ago I turned it off and the screen turned off right away but the sound was delayed and finally turned off a few seconds later. Then today I tried to screen mirror and it kept “loosing connection” with a red warning in the middle of the screen. It also kept changing to a new screen saying we should reboot if the problem continues which it did but every time I tried to enter the menu, the screen would reset all over again. Basically it didn't allow me to reset or reboot.

Really good features

I bought this tv after looking over many comps. For the price, features, price and quality it was a win win. The only complaint I have is that Vizio smartcast does not allow you to add apps that are not pre-loaded I their catalog. I have a Roku do its not an issue that I can't get them at all but it's literally 4 apps that I use that Smart cast does not have. Plus it's strange that Smartcast has disney+ and hulu but not ESPN and ABC but all are owned by Disney.

Started off nice

Started off nice then started getting really slow. Ever since the update I've been having issues. My TV won't load the screen properly half the time and I have to restart the TV. Also I cannot stream anything anymore without putting the streaming app on my phone. Are used to be able to disconnect and so could anybody else with their phone but now as long as one person has the streaming app on the phone anybody can connect. It also regularly starts switching from Dolby Digital to stereo back-and-forth and will not stop. It went for 30 minutes one time until I just turned it off. When it works it's great but it only works half the time anymore.

Good TV for the price

I was looking for a tv larger then a 55. Price was right and was a smart tv. However not really a smart tv. I can't add new apps and have to live with the apps already preloaded. Called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. I should have got a Samsung instead.

Really nice smart tv

I bought this tv for my living room and it's perfect! I love everything about it. My only complaint is that the volume level is really low, even after I've changed the audio settings. That can easily be solved by just getting a surround sound bar though. Overall I'm in love with the tv and happy with my purchase!

SPECTACULAR CLARITY and Technically ADVANCED!

I bought my VIZIO 50'' Class 4K HDR Smart TV and it has SURPRISED me and my entire family with its CLARITY, ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY, and SOUND!! I am thoroughly enjoying this VIZIO 50" in my new MANCAVE!! Since our adult kids have moved out of our home, I can now have a special room (MANCAVE) just for me and the VIZIO is just the right TV for me!! Thank You and I purchased it at a GREAT PRICE too!!
