Wonderful Viewing Experience!

We Bought this TV and the VIZIO series 5.1 Sound Bar...this week. It was very easy set up and love the smart detect features when connecting our DVD, game consoles etc. Great picture, great sound...price is definitely right not to mention the warranty and support and powerful partnership with the retail store that sold it to us! Great Job VIZIO!

Excellent picture, loaded with apps

Bought this TV a couple of weeks ago, we bought another one just like it 8 months ago, because the picture, and sound quality, are excellent. My only problem with these sets is that they need to be more sturdy!!! The reason for the second purchase, in 8 months, is because I accidentally brushed against the first one, and it fell, the frame bent when I caught it mid air, which messed up the picture....now has a horizontal line across the screen!!! It us a good bedroom TV though!!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been purchasing vizio for the past 12 years. I love the colors and the features. And as soon as my guest bedroom is done being remodeled i will be purchasing another 55 inch to go in there.. Thank you vizio for making a great product.

Overall a good product

I've had this for about 6 months, and for the most part, it's solid and hard to argue for the price. Occasionally the screen blacks out for a few seconds while on my PS4, and it has internet connectivity issues now and then. There was a very subtle ripple at the far left center screen that I've been unable to smooth out, so that's a mild annoyance.

Great tv when it wants to work

Love the colors the out put the sound but I've recently had problems when connecting anything to hdmi ports at times when not in use I'd turn my tv on and use the device hooked up to that hdmi port and I'd get a blank screen with only sounds of my device . I would then have to continuously unplug the tv and device from the tv it's self and wait a few seconds reconnect everything and sometimes I'd have to do this about 4 times

Nice picture

The product has been good, the down fall for me is only two HDMI ports, I had to go out and buy extra stuff, I have cable DVD and Fire stick. most TV's I have owned have at lest 3 ports to connect to and it is important to place them in areas that are easy accessible for those who mount their TV on the wall.

So. Many. Glitches!!!

We've had this TV for about a year. I've had to reset to factory 3x, the first time was less than a month after initial set up. Either the smart cast doesn't work, or the screen is “snowy” or the sound is delayed… something always seems to be wrong with it!

great picture and sound

We had an accident with our old one when our dog bumped into my fiance and he fell backwards into our T.V. So we had to get a new one and boy was I happy with the choice we made. The picture is so clear and vivid! And I love that it's a smart T.V with a lot of apps to choose from. This is a great T.V to buy!!!!

Nice when it works, Problems already.

Let me start by saying my last Vizio tv (bought in 2014) is amazing!!! It still works really well except the apps don't update so I can't use them which is why I got a new tv also so I could use Apple AirPlay. I bought this TV a little over a month ago and have already had to contact support. The overall tv is nice when it works. The Apple AirPlay is awesome. The colors are great and when it works it's fantastic, although the sound is lacking a bit. The problem with this tv is about 2 weeks after I got it, the apps refused to open unless you pressed the preprogrammed buttons on the remote which only gives access to a few apps. This lasted for about a week then suddenly the tv did a software update and the apps returned to working. Then a week later - almost 30 days from my purchase date - the sound stopped working. No reason. I turned it on and no sound. I restarted the tv, unplugged it and did everything that was suggested to do online. NOTHING! Then I resorted to doing a factory reset and the sound restored, but I had to re-set up everything! This is really concerning for a tv that's a little more than 30 days old.

Not bad for the price

Good picture, sound. However, this was my second choice. My first choice was another brand, but I had to return it. I was going between the other and this one initially, so I decided to take the Vizio home for the exchange. With my first choice I could add and remove apps (streaming channels). However, you cannot do this with the Vizio. That is a major detractor. I should have done my research better. I was more concerned with component connections (which this one has plenty of). Thankfully I still have my Roku.
