Great Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this TV for a few years and never had anything go wrong with it. Works like it did the first day I bought it. I have a few gaming consoles hooked up to it. All of them work great with this TV.

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm disabled and have the V555 H1 for years and finally needed to replace it. So far the J01 is a fantastic replacement. It's basically the same TV but everything has been upgraded. The sound on the TV alone might be a little low sometimes but everything else is great.

Picture is really good!

I bought this Black Friday of 2019. I think when updates are applied it makes the start up for the tv act up and bug out to the point I have to turn off and on my tv multiple times. I think some apps should be added to the Home Screen such as HBO Max.

Mostly good

I bought this to replace a year old t c l tv that had issues with sound. Sound is great on the vizio. Only issue I've had, has been a connection issue with some apps. It was still an issue after resetting it so I ran an ethernet cord through my house. With it wired tv is great. This tv has a ethernet connection.

Horrible for the Elderly

ALL TV manufacturers have forgotten about the ELDERLY. Screens should be made simpler. It should be where the HOME screen shows ONLY icons for what the person wants (i.e.: TV stations & Netflix). There should be a way to LOCK either the remote or the tv so an elderly person can't arbitrarily get into areas they shouldn't. Remotes need to have bigger buttons and LIGHTS (I had to purchase a "universal remote" with these features.) Printing on screen needs to be easily viewed from a living room chair or bed (the "INPUT" options necessary to go from Netflix to TV Stations is TINY & barely seen amongst the busy HOME screen. Please think of the elderly, disabled, and anyone who struggles with ALL of this technology!!!! The RCA Roku (which I returned) allowed the HOME screen to be less busy, but per RCA, Roku, & Jasco, NO Roku TV will acknowledge # keys to go directly to a specific TV station. At 98 yrs old, she shouldn't have to push an arrow 50 times to get to a station! SHAME ON MANUFACTURERS!!!!

WORST TV I HAVE EVER OWNED

Picture is muddy and washed out, people look like the walking dead. Got a huge runaround from the company and was even told I needed to sit directly in front of the set. Was put through a series of contortions to try to reset and readjust, but nothing works. Kept it on the box for several months, so I can't take it back. Guess the garbage man will find it better than the one he uses.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the ‘Calibrated’ setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. Weeeeell...

I wish i had done more digging about the vizio smart cast television! No new apps unless you use the chromecast??? What in the world is that all about??? Im having to sacrifice picture quality to see what i want on the SMART! TV!! Ok again thats on me for not looking into it a bit more ill eat that. Fine. Vizio! You make the best TV's the buying public could ask for ok. Im still a fan whole heartedly! I just dont see why u had to be different in this series of TV's. They make for a good drs office TV. Maybe like a mall TV for showing ads maybe, just not private use where the full experience is a must ok. Someone's kids would be ok with it. Im also having trouble casting my tablet screen to it! My phone does it no problem. Im just frustrated about that currently. My review stands true though. That has nothing to do with the inability to cast things. Thanks for the great products overall. Please take this as a serious review. Im a big fan of the screens you put out. I dont comment on a brand unless its used by me. No bad reviews just to do it. Hopefully its considered constructive. Thanks again

Awesome Features!

I bought this TV a little less than a month ago...now...and it's been amazing....the first one was broken (no picture and no sound) Made new delivery 3 days later and it has been just Wonderful! Thank you Vizio V series 65 " I am Loving my TV... Again Thank you!

Great quality, amazing value

Nearly the exact same my friend's Samsung TV of same quality, for 150 less. I would argue that this TV actually has better color definition and better glare reduction as well. Definitely needs external audio though, the on-board is just as bad as any other TV on the market.

The tv was self explanatory in set up directly out the box. From the language selection to the Home Screen was all easy and effortless. The best thing about the tv was the wireless setup and tv mirror from any one of my apple devices. I did recommend it to another person and had to buy one for my GF house as well. For the price I paid, I couldn't have ended with a better tv with clear picture and quality. The sound could be a bit better but it is a TV and not a sound dock or bass but it does the job. Music from my phone straight to the tv is effortless and loud enough for my apartment
