Worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this tv for some time now and everything is great however I do wish different apps were on the pre set buttons on the remote if I'm being picky. Also sometimes the tv tends to freeze sometimes. But other than that, I don't have any complaints. The picture and sound quality is great and worth the price in my opinion

Excellent Choice

I brought this TV for myself as a Christmas present. The setup was extremely easy and not complicated at all. The ports for connecting other devices were easily accessible....not so the case with other models. When I turned on the TV, I was just amazed at the brilliance of color and picture sharpness. I am TOTALLY pleased with my purchase.

The worst television I own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We get a lot of square inches per dollar spent. However, size does not matter here because it is the most annoying television to own. The software constantly crashes, so much so that I have to hard-reset the TV regularly. The black detail makes the picture worse than a 1990's pre-LED tv. Somehow there's styrofoam inside the screen. The sound is atrocious, as the tv rattles with low or loud sounds. This was so annoying that I had to buy external speakers. The app control constantly crashes or has buttons redirect you in an infinite loop, e.g., once you enter Watch Free, you will not be able to go to any other app until you perform a hard reset. I bought two of these TVs and only one shows pictures, the other only turns on for a maximum of eight seconds, so its just sat against the wall for about a year. You might think that the TV is such a good deal that you're willing to take the gamble. For your sanity, please do not. I cannot convince my wife that we need to replace it, so I'm stuck with a tv that has the lowest quality for any sports game and is the worst with video games.

Why 3 stars

The only thing I do not like about this tv is I cannot remove unwanted apps and I cannot add the apps I want. That is enough for me to not purchase another vizio. The first smart tv I bought was a roku and after buying this vizio I will only purchase roku from here on out unless this issue get fixed. There is so many app I will never use I would like to remove and there are some apps I would like to add and there is no way to do so with this tv. I also cannot personalize my back ground or sounds or nothing like I can with my Roku.

This TV is big and full of problems

I bought this TV back in November 2020 and has been giving me tremendous amount of trouble. It glitches and will cut off out of no where and/or freeze to the point where you have to plug it back in and out, the volume doesn't turn up or down right away it's delayed at least 30-45 seconds. The airplay doesn't even show up on my smartphone (iPhone 11) it's overall a very regretful purchase that I am now stuck with :(

Terrible

I had it for a week and the screen started to dim by itself and then it would return to normal, it progressively got worse to the point the TV screen would flicker black. I have never had a problem with vizio tvs before but after that experience I will not be buying anymore.

I REALLY LOVE THIS TV!! …. BUT…. IF I COULD HAVE AFFORDED A 70”; I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE ULTIMATE FLAT SCREEN TV HEAVEN'S!! But; UNFORTUNATELY, IT WASN'T IN THE CARDS FOR ME JUST YET!! A great TV for the price!

Having owned exclusively Vizio televisions for the last 5 years, I had high expectations for this TV and it's met every single one of them. The picture, sound, and functionality are all great. Very satisfied with this purchase and if I had to do it all over again, I'd buy this TV again in a heartbeat

Nice Upgrade!

I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm happy that I did. I was originally looking at the 50” but found a 55” around the same price. The two most influential things that helped me make up my mind were the price and the mirroring features. No cord needed!

Great TV with all the features for the size/price.

Great TV - all the features for a great price and size. Plenty of HDMI inputs so that I can easily attach everything. Strong sound for our living room, so much so that we had to disconnect the sound bar and just use the TV sound for certain programs. Great picture. Everyone is very happy with it.
