You get what you pay for

After the LED lights started going out on my samsung Smart TV, I needed something new. We lived our Samsung... But it's December and we had just replaced a dryer, my sons and mother's birthdays are in December, and Christmas is right around the he corner. I had an old Vizio I loved, so when I saw this TV for almost half the cost of a Samsung... I went for it The picture quality wasn't what I expected. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't what we were used to. The sound was AWFUL. So I had to spring for a sound bar. It was still awful and the two together were almost as much as the Samsung... So I returned them both and went back to that. I was very disappointed with this tv

Simplified for Perfection

Bought this device a few weeks ago and it has simplified my life. I do not have to remember which device I plugged into each HDMI, the TV knows what device is plugged into it (PS4, Nintendo Switch, etc). I also love Smart Casting for my YouTube viewings as well.

I love this tv!! Perfect for me!!

I will never buy any other tv brand. VIZIO is THE BEST!! It has all the features that I need and more. Beautiful picture and superb quality! You cannot go wrong with any product made by VIZIO!

The best smart TV experience!

Vizio has created a smart TV that seamlessly connects with the technology used by my cell phone, iPad and computer. Video has taken the guesswork out of the smart TV experience, and I am now on top of my entertainment game.

Volume problems

Volume is...awful would be an improvement; muffled, distorted, etc. To hear anything you have to turn the volume to 43 (volume goes up to 100). When it goes to a commercial the volume increases almost two fold. When it went f/commercial to the show I was watching, to compare sound, I turned the volume up to around 80 to get the same level of sound. Was chatting with a Vizio tech who had me to try a couple of things which, I had already tried on my own. When it didn't resolve the problem, they had me to do a factory reset. Once complete, the sound from the show and commercials where near the same level, until I turned on the volume balancer...then the commercials went to blasting again. In the middle of all of the above, we were disconnected...looks like a problem on Vizio's side; received a message to try again later. Frustrating after being on a call for 30-45 minutes. Been through this a couple of times...would like to get a replacement or a refund if we can't get the volume right. I'm asked below if I would recommend Vizio to a friend? We have another Vizio product we are happy with but, based on this experience no. If they resolve the problem or replace the unit, my opinion would change.

Frustrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 warranty claims and I got a tv that works… most of the time. While it did finally process, it wasn't without awful headaches and weeks of waiting without a tv for approval and shipping. The installers mentioned these tvs are notorious for issues and is one of the tvs they have to pick up/install the most. The Vizio interface is frustrating. Picture is decent. Sound is not great— get a soundbar. Probably would not purchase a Vizio again.

t's unfortunate you had a negative experience. Delivery agents contracted for replacements may see a different scope, as they are only picking up TV's that had been setup for a warranty issue. Once I got used to the menu it was great, Love my

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine for a little while now, I put it in my bedroom so I didn't get to use it very much at first but lately I have really been watching it and I love it, It has such a great picture and sound quality and it has a lot of built in features that are great. I just hooked it up to my Echo device and now all I do is just talk and it obeys LOL Love it.

Amazing surround sound!

Love how the menu looks

I brought this v series tv for the viewing capabilities(4k uhd). I am happy with this aspect. What I have issue with is the audio. What I notice is that if what I'm viewing is not 4k, hd, basically newer then the volume doesn't match the capability that the TV offers. Most things I watch I have I have to turn up to max volume. I am looking into getting a sound bar to remedy this situation hopefully. The other issue is the app selection needs to be updated. There are quite a few apps but apps are not available like hbomax, sling, philo, lifetime, etc. Otherwise good tv.

Great value

I have had this about a month and love it. Great picture, never had a problem. Vizio is my go to. First one I got was 12 years ago and it still works perfectly, 2nd one was 8 years ago and same thing. This is my 3 rd one and I won't need to buy one for a long time.
