Awesome TV!!!!

I have to be completely honest while writing this review, the Vizio was not my 1st choice when I went in to purchase a TV. The one I went looking to purchase was actually sold out and since this was my 2nd choice I went ahead and purchased it. I am so glad that I did purchase the Vizio!!!! Not only is the picture absolutely beautiful, but the extra features just blew my mind. I am now a faithful Vizio customer for life!!!

So far, so good

This is my second Vizio TV set. I was happy with my previous set but I wanted a bigger TV so I stuck with the brand that I knew and trusted. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because of the remote control. It is super sensitive and when I am navigating to the right or to the left it will sometimes skip two or three moves when I just pressed it one time. A minor glitch, but a little frustrating at the same time. The TV set itself is perfect.

Satisfactory TV, needs Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own multiple Vizio TVs in my house, all of which are V-series TVs. They are very well priced, but the processors in them are, sadly, very, very, very slow. They have wonderful features, the smart cast experience is relatively good (aside from the slow processing), and yet there are a good number of software glitches and poor maintenance issues from Vizio that cannot be ignored. One critique relates to the Google Cast and Apple Airplay experiences. While they work quite well in and of themselves, they don't start well. Once connected for the first time, Cast or Airplay is shutdown by the TV after about 5 seconds of good connection and the TV's homepage is returned to. I then have to go back to my phone and reconnect to the TV, at which point it does retain the connection. This happens every time I attempt to cast or Airplay to my TV. Quite unfortunate. I have had an issue once where the remote would get behind what I was actually selecting, and so I had to think very carefully in order to restart the TV. The reboot normally fixed it, but the glitch would come back almost every week or less. The glitch was seemingly fixed by a software update some time ago. Altogether, the software and processing experience is not the best, but it works. The screen itself is truly awesome, I will note!

Sound problems

I just got my tv not even a week ago and it statics in the background and it's lines running through tv shows I'm very disappointed cause I thought it was going to be great because I have a Vizio and have had it for years but this one hurt my feelings

Excellent TV for the price!

I bought this TV about 2 months ago as a budget tv but I didn't want a blurry tv with not so nice sound quality and I did some research and this is the one i landed on. At first I was a little on edge about the price being so low , I thought it was low which made me think it would be bad quality, COMPLETELY wrong. Great picture quality, Excellent sound, and just an all around great experience!

Cutting the cable, Great Technology

Whole lot of stuff built into this TV, way more features than I ever expected. Viewing options out of the box could be sufficient for most folks. Setup and customization is pretty straight forward, only been at it for about 20 days, still discovering all kinds of fun stuff.

Great TV at a Great Price

Purchased in December 2019. Could not be happier with this excellent value. Does not have some of the features you'll find on more expensive TVs like full array local dimming. It has "only" 3 HDMI ports and small speakers. But it has an excellent, crisp picture, is capable of 4k HDR and a great viewing angle and has a full set of smart TV features. I think most people will find this TV looks great and works well.

Vizio V-series 55" LCD TV

My five year old LG burned out, probably from a power surge. This was its replacement. So I am comparing it to that one. This one has strange sound issues. A lot of what I watch has these strange breaks in the sound when the volume get low, almost like a mute circuit. You don't miss much but it is distracting. Also, the picture washes out as you get off center, much worse than the LG was. While the LG did cost more five years ago, it was the budget model then too. I keep it off the internet because I cant stream out here in the country anyway and that keeps it from constantly down load updates and junk. My experience with technology is you don't update unless there is an issue. I am much happier since I turned off all that extra audio stuff and told it to use plain audio.

It's okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have problems with my tv after a while from having it. My tv freezes, it lags, i have to reset the tv multiple times in one day just to fix the tv to watch it. It's annoying dealing with this tv. The sound has problems sometimes and the updates are okay but they don't help, I think it makes it worse sometimes. I love the color and the clearness of course but software wise, it's not so good. I'm too lazy and cheap to get a new tv so I just deal with all the problems. Resetting takes a minute but it's just annoying having to do it everyday.

Great Purchase

Although I am still learnings all the product has to offer, I am enjoying it tremendously. I now understand why they call it a SMART TV. The size is perfect for my entertainment center, the picture is crisp, and the sound is massive. Most of all I like watching YouTube and streaming shows using Smartcast instead of a tablet. This is the best purchase I have made so far.
