Great TV!

This tv is awesome. Picture quality is awesome. It had a ton of apps. You can cast to it from any app or other device. It's not too loud though so I would recommend a sound bar or speakers or something. Also it sometimes will not show anything on the home page but will load up other apps. Though this makes it difficult to get to any apps you do not have buttons for. I have found that unplugging the television for a few seconds will usually fix it. If not. It probably needs a factory reset.

Spectacular video performance

The picture is so clear and crisp that standard definition picture from my FiOS box looks like HD and HD looks like I'm looking out my window at action in the street. Watching NASCAR races in HD in this Vizio TV looks as realistic as being at the track!

Great Picture

I got rid of a 15 year old 48" 1080i Sony with not smart TV options. This is quite a step up with the 58" 4K UHD with smart apps. Still needed a Roku to get some channels but no big deal. Very please with picture etc.After research this was a great price as well.

Great purchase

First 4K and first smart tv. Love the picture and the built in apps. I left cable, except for internet and stream everything. Great that Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Youtube and Vudu all have their own buttons. Also has the Plex app as well. This takes care of every streaming service I use. Very simple to set up as well.

Great video pictures

I love everything about this besides one thing. The casting has stopped twice and I've had to reboot it to work. Other than that everything has been great with it. I have noticed the remote for the other vizio I have had for a few years changes the tv so I have to be careful where I'm standing to change the tv in my room.

Beautiful Image Quality With So Much Video Access!

I bought this down just weeks before "lockdown". The easy integration with my different media services helped to reduce any sense of feeling 'trapped', 'closed in', or 'missing out' on the beauty of the world outside my home. I watched tons of movies, breathtaking 4k videos, and stayed in touch with loved ones easily to pass the time. I have greatly appreciated the many ways that this 'smart tv' helped entertain me, inform me, connect me to other people, and lessen the emotional stress of this historically impactful year.

Great TV but ...

Installation was a easy and TV performance is great. But, I though I had read somewhere in the a data that that the V405-G9 supported "Blue Tooth". The manual and the on screen menu appear to have a spot for "Paired Devices" but I have been unable to find out how to do this with "Blue Tooth". Tech Support was both hard to hear and understand. Also to connect a laptop/notebook to the TV using Wi-Fi, the browser must be "Chrome". I'm Not a Chrome Fan.

Great Features if they only worked.

No home screen for SmartCast and apps don't launch, waiting for some firmware that seems to be coming at some point, but I essential have a monitor that only works with my external components. I might love this thing, but now I just like it with Disappointed hopes that might ultimately lead to an in store exchange if this firmware doesn't come quickly.

Good value for the price

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been very happy with picture quality and apps. I did have trouble with the HDMI ports losing audio (but odlly enough not losing video) but a chat with Visio tech support was able to resolve the issue relatively quickly

No quality sound

I purchased and setup. My first disappointment was not all apps are available. You will need a streaming device to connect. I assumed by this being such a popular brand I would find almost everything I needed on this tv. Once I set everything up with cable, apps, and all. Got ready to watch a movie and NO SOUND. Let me say there was sound but it was like they were whispering and if you turned it up it sounded like busted speakers. So you will also need a sound bar. Decided to return. Great picture, some apps missing, but sounds issues are a deal breaker for me.
