If you want to install apps, do NOT buy this model

The TV itself was a super deal pricewise. Unfortunately I didn't research this particular model . TV comes with many built in apps, but you CANNOT add additional apps. Very bummed!!

Hello Marianne Falkenberg, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. This TV has a good picture however the sound keeps going out and requiring it to be reset. Vizio customer care is zero help in resolving issue. The sounds has gone out up to a dozen times and we have had the TV two weeks. This is being returned.

Stopped working in the first week

It worked OK for the first day or two. The picture quality was great. The software was lackluster. Then the audio stopped working and finally it would no longer turn on. I returned the product and did not buy this brand as a replacement.
