The most enjoyable TV experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like not using a separate device plugged into the tv. Having nearly everything available I use and being able to use Chromecast and Apple for the things not available is overall fairly smooth. Talked to GF about getting a Large Screen Vizio for our new home because using multiple devices has been clunky.

Horrible start

I could not change the volume. I could not change inputs. Phone support had me doing a power off reset. Still no change. They were instructing me to do a factory reset but their instructions were taking me to the wrong menu. I located the correct menu screen for the factory reset myself but while there I also noticed that there was a demo mode setting and it was set to one of the active states. When I turned that off the TV would now behave properly. I could change volume and select inputs. Quite horrible experience to be shipped a tv setup in demo mode and even tech support didn't recognize the symptoms of that setting.

Wonderful clarity and color.

I previously purchased a Visio 43" Smartcast. I loved it so much that I returned and purchased a Visio 50" Smartcast. I love the clarity of the images and the broad range of colors. I am very pleased with my new Smartcast. I will definitely continue buying Visio, in the future.

Unpleasant

So I caught sight of this particular series of Vizio off a few websites and decided to give it a try. I had an LG 55” I was swapping out after 12 years. It was an amazing TV, LED/LCD hybrid. So after doing a lot of research I decided to make the purchase on the V series of Vizio. Within my first 2 days of owning the TV it froze on the main screen and wouldn't transition to anything else. Since that moment it continues to freeze on me at least 1 time a week consistently and I have to end up unplugging it and waiting 10 seconds to plug it back in. I've owned this TV for about 6 months. I may end up back with LG. I have checked firmware and all updates and all the software are up to date. Not sure yet what I will do but so far I am not recommending this TV brand.

Love it!

Got this TV at a local grocery store for a steal. With the help of my tech-savvy son, who detailed the important features, I bought it to discover it exceeded all expectations. This is my second Vizio big screen TVs purchase. That now makes me a loyal follower.

great picture

i have heard that vizio was a good tv we will see how long it will last. its a nice tv but there not made to last like a older t.v. these new electronics are made not to last, if these tv's where made out of quality instead of quantity how many we can make in a 8 hr work shift. how about make a tv last 30 years like they use too....

Great features

I bought this to play my new Xbox series x on its awesome does everything I need it to do and looks amazing to have it a 4 star cause it does 120fps and 4kuhd hdr10+ but it won't do 4K same time with 120fps has to be 4K with 60fps or 1080p with 120 FPS still nice to be able to use it but sucks I can't use my Xbox to the full potential still the best tv I ever had !

Overall best TV I have ever owned!

Overall best TV I have ever owned! From the second I brought it home when taking it out of the box I noticed how simple Vizio made the TV as they always make all of their products you literally take the TV out of the box put the TV legs on plug in the AC adapter and it is good to go. I am hoping that the quality of the picture and sound stays nice and crisp as I'm sure it will As I have owned a Visio sound bar for over five years now that is still working just as good as the day I brought it out of the box as well as a new sound bar that I bought for this TV as well thank you Visio!

3 VIZIO 42 IN TV'S

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I BOUGHT THREE OF THESE 42IN 4K SMART TV'S A MONTH AGO, AND I COULDNT BE HAPPIER. I HAVE HAD ANOTHER ONE ON MY PATIO NOW FOR TWO YEARS WITH NO ISSUES! GREAT PRODUCTS AT A GREAT VALUE AND WARRANTY.

Vizio smart tv v655-g9

A great smart tv for it's its price, love the resolution and features it has, only thing I wish it had was an app store to choose what apps you want to download. It comes with all the standard apps that anyone should need but for us techies we like to choose some apps that aren't mainstream
