Excellent, except one suggestion

This is a replacement for an older Vizio that got a crack in the screen. The TV is awesome, pairs immediately with my Vizio Soundbar. I didnt give it 5 stars because there is a control under power settings for ECO mode, which is the default. This would not allow chromecast devices to recognize it when the TV is powered off, and the Vizio app could not recognize it either. When i changed the setting to not have it in ECO mode, I could cast to it while the TV is powered down.

Great TV but...

I've had my tv for about a year or so now, been having random issues with the volume where it completely goes out and I have to restart the whole tv by unplugging it and leaving it off for a few mins then back on and it works again. It's so strange, not that great.

Great features and overall TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a week ago and it has been amazing. I loved the picture and the sound quality on this and the interface has recently been updated by Vizio to seem more modern. The viewing angles could be better but honestly this outperforms similar monitors in this price range easily!

Misleading & disappointing

I bought a vizio smartcast TV assuming that with the cast feature built in I would be able to quickly & easily mirror my phone screen on my new TV. This is not the case. Unlike my much older LG smart tv which allows me to mirror my phone screen & stream apps on my phone such as hulu & Netflix using just my data the vizio smartcast requires that you have wifi & that both the phone & the TV be connected to the same network. On top of that you have to go through the steps of pairing your phone to the TV. The smartcast has also seemed to have many glitches since we purchased it not even a year ago. Currently altho my other apps are working Netflix & Hulu are not working. I've tried factory reset, soft power cycling both the TV & router. Nothing seems to fix the issue with only these two apps. All my other apps are streaming just fine & I have found nothing on their website to help me resolve the issue. I regret purchasing the Smartcast TV the only thing good I have to say about it is it was a great price but clearly you get what you pay for.

Superb TV

Normally I buy LG but I have already bought two Visio sound bars and it worked out well. So I went for TV this time. I am avid tv watcher with multiple paid subscriptions and amazing picture quality seem less connectivity with sound bar and sync. I was amazed . Been using for over 16 months no issues

so apps already built into tv

have fire cube but find myself not even needed it most of the time- apps preloaded you tube Disney+ hulu and pluto tv just phenominal. am like a little kid at the candy store-great picture and very user friendly-highly recommened it-never had a problem with any vizio product

Great for cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great most of the time. Would love more mixing options. Can't adjust vocal volume. Some occasional issues with it appearing to shut off on its own, I think it loses the TV signal and assumes you turned the TV off. But otherwise solid speaker and sound for the cost

It Has all the features we were looking for.

Bought it today. Got home and mounted on existing wall mount. Easy for 2 of us to do. Plugged it in and followed on screen instructions. Hooked up easy to wireless. It downloaded updates. This took a little while but was fine. Be patient. Hooked up my Roku and was up and running. About an hour or so. Picture is great. I do recommend, especially for the price.

Durable

This vizio was purchased to replace my previous one. The previous one may not have lasted as many years as some would expect, but I had that TV on nearly 24/7 for about 6 or 7 years. Days, and sometimes weeks could go by with it never being turned off. .so, of course when it was time to replace it, I returned to vizo, and am very happy with that decision

V series excellence

For a V series I wasn't expecting much more than basic features. Vizio has set the bar as to what those features should be expected to be for everyone else. Price point is still untouchable by others, image quality is up there with much more expensive displays. Best bang for your buck PERIOD
