Using as a computer monitor

The 4k resolution and 60hz frame rate make this an excellent choice for a large computer monitor. 43" is about as big as I can fit on my desk without mounting it on the wall, but distance isn't so much an issue because of the fine detail and resolution quality. I am pleased with the purchase and the price point was competitive. I recommend this TV for people who want a bit more scale for gaming or other applications that want for larger display sizes.

Great product for such a price

I'm impressed by the number of apps available on this television and the content it provides. But I think there should be some sort of App Store that can enable you install apps on your own and remove the ones you don't like. And an internet browser is missing from the apps.

Nice television.

This tv has great picture with great sound quality. Only thing I can see that i would think a smart TV would have is being able to get online and download apps that I had on the television this replaced. Besides that its a great TV. If there is a way to add please tell me how to do so.

Works great!

I saw other reviews re: problems with Smarcast. Apparently, they have been resolved. Mine works great. I have integrated with Alexa and it is easy put my computer display on the TV. Great picture. Easy to use. I would recommend this TV as an excellent value.

Nice for the price

Had this for a few weeks, purchased to replace a 26" 1080p Vizio I took a chance on nearly a decade ago. This was a little larger than I wanted, but the 32" 4k didn't have all of the features and wasn't really that much less expensive. Just hope this TV will last as long as the 26" (it's still going, just in the guest bedroom).

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the tv, good sound and picture quality. Never had any problems with it. Always had a Roku tv until we bought the Vizio and have been quite impressed. My only complaint is that something happened and the top 1/4 of the screen is darker. Not sure if that was operator error and someone bumped it with something or an electrical issue. Still works but annoying that part of the screen is darker.

Picture not so good

I own a 13 year old 55" Sony. I wanted to replace it in living room with a 65". So I bought this Vizio. Well, my Sony has a seriously better picture. The Vizio is washed out with blurred edges on everything, where as the Sony is bright and vivid. Vizio could not help me with any settings. I am really disappointed. How can a 13 year old TV with no modern features have a superior picture?

At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087.

Application issues

This tv has A LOT of issues with the smart cast. Every time trying to connect to any device, the tv has to go through a reset to connect to anything. Now it is starting to have a lot of issues with other applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney plus where the video will stop and the screen will show the application screen but the show or movie audio continues to play. So many issues with the user interface with this TV.

Good picture but networking issues.

I have enjoyed this tv a great amount since purchasing it. The picture, after being calibrated, is vibrant and detailed in contrast to other tvs I have had. I love how I can access all my streaming apps from the Home Screen as well! Having said that, I have run into numerous internet connectivity issues with this tv. At times it won't be able to utilize my network even though it is clearly connected with its own IP address. At first, I thought it could be my router or modem but after testing all my other devices the tv was clearly the issue. Every time it can't connect any more I have to configure new IP settings in my router and this is just a hassle. This could be a great tv if this issue was addressed as well as the viewing angle which isn't great.

Great picture and sound

This replaced a 2.5 year old RCA 4K tv that suddenly blew it's backlighting without warranty...without a big budget I was determined to take a bigger step up in quality from the RCA comparing the store demos this was by far the best picture for the cost. I was even more impressed, once home and set up it's sound was far superior to the old television as well...previously I needed a soundbar to be able to hear the television adequately as the speakers could not get loud enough to hear dialogue well at all. The Vizio performs beautifully. Not to mention the apps and easy setup and operation. Hopefully it gives me many years of great service!
